Selfism is Simply and
Absolutely Selfishness

SELFISM is selfishness. Selfism is the religion of self-centeredness that will make you miserable. You may think that selfishness and self-centeredness will make you really happy, and make you feel really great . . . that’s what humanity and the world tells you . . . BUT it is NOT what our Holy God tells us in His Holy Word! Selfishness and self-centeredness will always make you miserable in the end! Our awesome God will make sure of it! Count on it!

In older days, people used to know this, for it was just common sense . . . BUT . . . common sense is no longer COMMON in today’s modern culture. It seems that common sense is something most people today do NOT have! IF you say that you are perfect the way that you are, and IF you say you deserve all the happiness in the world, IF the culture tells you that’s exactly the right thing . . . you are in for a lot of misery. Count on it. This crazy culture of self-love is a culture of delusion.  SO . . . WHAT is the real beginning of true love . . . dear one it is NOT self-love . . . it is actual ‘agape’ love streaming down from Heaven from GOD to His beloved children!

To start with, love is not SELF-centered. True love is always on someone else. It is stated both in the Old and New Testaments:
Lev. 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. (KJV)
Mat. 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV)
When we love the Lord thy God . . . we are loving our Creator . . . and we should do it with love and gratitude . . . for HE is the One who gave you this wonderful life that you have, and then too, we are made in the image of God. When we love our neighbor as ourselves, we will automatically do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The genuine beginning of real LOVE is our humility and gratitude. Is it a love of others: first for God, then for your neighbor!

Does your love for God express a gratitude for the life that He gave you, which you did not, nor cannot ever create. Even if you are an atheist or an agnostic, or even if you have some other religion, we can at least agree: You are not responsible for your life. YOU did not create YOU or YOUR life. You were born into this world, and YOU had nothing to do with it. All of this should make us a very humble! Someone once said that there are four very important virtues: humility, humility, humility, and humility.

The main object in today’s world of this idiotic sexual revolution . . . is  SELF-LOVE and the participants this culture of self-love have become very unhappy. So, what does that leave us?
Drug addiction, loneliness, misery, suicide. This is not happening just in older people, but today’s youth as well. Teenage suicide rates are up 70% in recent years. Clearly, something is NOT right! It seems that this culture of SELF-LOVE is simply NOT working.
