 Reasons Why Many People Seem
 Indifferent and Heartless

Have you ever wondered, but dared not say anything about it . . . why that modern Americans seem to be totally heartless, as if they had no warmth and feeling? Well, it is true, and TV and movies really do echo this.

Have you ever wondered why TV and movies from the 60's and 70's had completely different characters than those of today's time? Those long-past characters seemed to have radiated with goodness, kindness, love and warmth. They displayed deep feelings and strong morals. The main characters cared about others, and were pleasant and friendly, like people you would be glad to have as friends and part of your family. We felt a close attachment to them, and love and drama scenes were full of genuine emotion and feeling.

BUT . . . today’s TV and movies have cold, uncaring, adamant characters, seemingly cold-hearted and inhuman with NO feeling or warmth whatsoever! All they care about is acting tough and speaking filthy, gutter language. Sad to say, this is the attitude of the vast majority of today’s youth in modern America. Do you think filmmakers are telling us that this is what they see in the world, and so it is what comes out in the film, so accurately and shocking that it reveals modern America.

What I do know is that America and the world is changing ‘for the worse’, God hates it . . . and so do I. But I also know this old, feeble one cannot change anything to make it better. The only thing I can do is to say what I think.
 
<><><>1. Americans seem to be hardened to be self-minded about the reason for life . . . that being: make money, for ME. In the USA, the pursuit of money has replaced the human’s heart and soul that our awesome God has given us. There is more to life than ME! ME! ME!!! And too, the continued high cost of living in America (because of inflation and the wrongdoings of the Federal Reserve and banking leaders), which has gone out of control. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>2. Americans are accustomed to having nice things, and they get what they think is happiness from their material possessions. SO, they focus only on the EXTERNAL worldly things instead of wanting INTERNAL things, like peace and God’s will to be done in their lives. This does NOT encourage or nurture their inner self or soul and they become SOUL-LESS. And in addition to this, Americans seem to trade happiness for comfort, by following the world system rather than their soul. This is a big mistake because when you focus on bodily comforts and neglect the wishes of your heart, soul or spirit, you deny yourself and live a very counterfeit and deceptive life. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>3. Americans seem hardened to live in fear and distrust. The characteristic of American minds, disposition and attitude is in a state of fear awareness. It is in their disposition, body language and feeling. The nasty media prolongs fear by feeding them bad news and tragedies every single day. It seems that the more you watch the news, the more fearful and obsessed you become. Listening to another media is just as bad! This bunch tells you that your worst enemy is your own government with all the lies, corruptions and conspiracies of the powers in charge.  So, Americans are always in fear of something. Having fear when there is actual danger is normal and necessary to survive. But Americans seem to be in a mode of fear about everything, to where it controls their state of mind and awareness, becoming excessive and beyond reason. They even fear things that don't even exist, making every stranger they see as a possible psycho, criminal or terrorist. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>4. Americans do not seem interested, neither are they drawn to new things. They much prefer familiar things over uniqueness, and are not curious. They are not drawn to new ideas, new people or new things. They would rather stay with familiar people and things, and do not trust anything they are not familiar with. On the other hand, people who are curious, open, seek new things, and are drawn toward uniqueness, seem to be more passionate, creative and inspired than those who are not . . . for they seem more open and alive. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>5. Americans are taught to care only about themselves, be independent and not need others. The result is that they are socially disconnected and distant from others. There seems to be a "barrier" between strangers, where Americans do not talk to strangers unless it is business related. Most friendships are fronts and are more of an associate relationship rather than true friendship. On the other hand, true friendship is caring, concern, compassion, companionship, love, fellowship, community and family values, which do NOT seem to exist in their natural form in modern America. All in all, most Americans seem cold and unfeeling, even with their forced smiles and arrogance. So many are vulgar with a gutter-mouth, and in fact, modern American TV and movies seem to worship characters who have cold hearts, having no compassion, no feeling, no love, no warmth . . . all of which, sad to say, represent the distinctive modern American personality. In days gone by (before the 1990's), TV and movies presented characters that were warm and caring. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>6. In American public schools, imagination and creativity are terribly suppressed, never nourished. Children are hardened by following rules, committing to memory data, and repeating such on tests. It seems that this makes them left brain dominant, while totally disregarding their right brain, which controls our creativity, imagination and free thoughts. The result is sad! They become like robots, with no thoughts of their own. These kids then become rigid and not as open to new ideas . . . which seems to be the goal of the American government which treats everything as a business, including its people. It will not be long before people will automatically feel that they've been suppressed and controlled into a false existence. That's why they feel depressed and empty. Their "life force" has been suppresse . . . they know something is wrong, but do not understand what or why. So because they feel this constant dissatisfaction and emptiness, they get busy to make money. But NOTHING they do leads to comfort, happiness, joy or fulfillment. I guess with this Selfism religion, to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>7. Most food in America contains much more processed ingredients than in any other country in the world! If you would simply look at the food labels at the supermarket in America, you will SEE the problem. There are so many processed ingredients and additives listed that you can't even pronounce. It is NOT so in other countries. WHAT are all those GMO's (genetically modified organisms) from Monsanto?? Do we need them?? I say no, BUT they are there!! IF you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it! IF you don’t know what it is, don’t eat it! I will stay with the old saying, "You are what you eat". Dear one, IF most of what you eat each and every day contains a high amount of processed artificial ingredients, your common sense will tell you that YOU will become "artificial and processed."  SO. . . the more "artificial and processed" YOU become, the less YOU will seem to be alive and soulful. I guess with this Selfism religion to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.

<><><>8. The buildings in America are dull and inexpressive. They have no architectural design, no style, no creativity. They look depressing and rigid, especially when compared to the rich creative colorful buildings in Europe. As a result, the dull, soul-less buildings that surround Americans . . . must play a large part in making THEM dull and soul-less as well. It may be that in regard to these likely reasons why Americans seem so soulless, the sad implication is that IF YOU do NOT share these same qualities, and IF YOU ARE A FREETHINKER WITH A SOUL, then you are on a different wavelength and not be able to connect with others. But, you cannot "pretend" to fit in, because IF you are on a different wavelength or frequency than others, they will FEEL it and SENSE it. If you are on the polar opposite wavelength as them, they will begin to fear you. You will be as a "mirror" to them, which shows them what they have really become, which makes them uncomfortable. After all, darkness fears light. I guess with this Selfism religion to be truly independent and have NO need others, they must be cold and uncaring which makes them seem insensitive and unmoved as well.
