HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY

www.worldlychaos.org

Welcome to our website

Catholic Council of Trent

The Council of Trent anathematized every Christian who disagrees with ANY detail of Catholic doctrine. These anathemas have NEVER been canceled. An anathema means that the pope has ritually placed someone under a solemn ecclesiastical curse.

The Council of Trent (1545-1564) was the Roman Catholic Church's response to the Protestant Reformation. They took every single doctrine that Protestants believed, one at a time, and declared that anybody who believes even one of them is "anathema" (officially and ritually cursed by the Catholic Church).

The council also defined Catholic doctrines, in detail, and declared that ANYONE who denied even one of these smallest details is anathema. These doctrines include the authority of the pope, the practice of indulgences, veneration of Mary and the saints, and the use of statues. So, in effect, the Council of Trent anathematized ALL Christians who are not Roman Catholics.

Council of Trent: Canons on Justification.

Lutheranism was growing strong in the 1500's. In response to this, the Roman Catholic church convened a council in November of 1544 in an attempt to counter the doctrines raised and supported by the Reformers. The official opening of the council was on Dec. 13, 1545 and was closed on Dec. 14, 1563. The council delivered many statements on various subjects. These Canons have NEVER been denied by the Roman Catholic Church.

Following are several of the doctrinal statements made on Justification at the Council of Trent. After each Canon are Scriptures that contradict that Canon. I will dispute ANY and ALL FALSE Catholic doctrine with the Bible!

You will see the word "anathema" used many times by the Council. This means that those who disagree with the doctrines of this Council are cursed, damned to Hell. It is the humble opinion of this servant of the Lord, that ONLY Almighty God can curse someone and damn their soul to Hell (Gal.1:8-9). ALL curses must come from God, NOT from a mere sinful man (pope). The Roman Catholic church excommunicates those under anathema. Excommunication means being outside the Catholic Church, and according to them, being outside the church means you are not saved. NOT at all what the Bible states!

In spite of what Catholicism states, the Bible has a whole different story. I don't know about you, but I will believe God! Following each Canon is appropriate scriptures counteracting the Catholic position.

*****CANON 9: "If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (KJV)

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (KJV)

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV)

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (KJV)

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV)

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (KJV)

*****CANON 12: "If any one shall say that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in the divine mercy pardoning sins for Christ's sake, or that it is that confidence alone by which we are justified ... let him be accursed."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (KJV)

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV)

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (KJV)

Hebrews 7:25-27 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. (KJV)

2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (KJV)

*****Canon 14: "If any one saith, that man is truly absolved from his sins and justified, because that he assuredly believed himself absolved and justified; or, that no one is truly justified but he who believes himself justified; and that, by this faith alone, absolution and justification are effected; let him be anathema."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (KJV)

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)

*****Canon 23: "lf any one saith, that a man once justified can sin no more, nor lose grace, and that therefore he that falls and sins was never truly justified; or, on the other hand, that he is able, during his whole life, to avoid all sins, even those that are venial,- except by a special privilege from God, as the Church holds in regard of the Blessed Virgin; let him be anathema."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (KJV)

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. (KJV)

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)

*****Canon 24: "If any one saith, that the justice received is not preserved and also increased before God through good works; but that the said works are merely the fruits and signs of Justification obtained, but not a cause of the increase thereof; let him be anathema."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Galatians 3:1-3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? [2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?[3] Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? (KJV)

Galatians 5:1-3 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. [2] Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. [3] For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. (KJV)

*****Canon 30: "If any one saith, that, after the grace of Justification has been received, to every penitent sinner the guilt is remitted, and the debt of eternal punishment is blotted out in such wise, that there remains not any debt of temporal punishment to be discharged either in this world, or in the next in Purgatory, before the entrance to the kingdom of heaven can be opened (to him); let him be anathema."

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)

Colossians 2:13-14 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (KJV)

*****Canon 33: "If any one saith, that, by the Catholic doctrine touching Justification, by this holy Synod inset forth in this present decree, the glory of God, or the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ are in any way derogated from, and not rather that the truth of our faith, and the glory in fine of God and of Jesus Christ are rendered (more) illustrious; let him be anathema.

The Council of Trent declares that if anyone disagrees with it, they are cursed, damned, condemned to Hell. It it the humble opinion of this servant of God, that NO one but Almnighty Go can condemn anyone to Hell.

Miscellanous Canons of Catholic Curses

*****CANON 1. If any one saith, that man may be justified before God by his own works, whether done through the teaching of human nature, or that of the law, without the grace of God through Jesus Christ; let him be anathema. The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV)

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

*****CANON 2. If any one saith, that the grace of God, through Jesus Christ, is given only for this, that man may be able more easily to live justly, and to merit eternal life, as if, by free will without grace, he were able to do both, though hardly indeed and with difficulty; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)

*****CANON 3. If any one saith, that without the prevenient inspiration of the Holy Ghost, and without his help, man can believe, hope, love, or be penitent as he ought, so as that the grace of Justification may be bestowed upon him; let him be anathema.

*****CANON 4. If any one saith, that man's free will moved and excited by God, by assenting to God exciting and calling, nowise co-operates towards disposing and preparing itself for obtaining the grace of Justification; that it cannot refuse its consent, if it would, but that, as something inanimate, it does nothing whatever and is merely passive; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)

*****CANON 5. If any one saith, that, since Adam's sin, the free will of man is lost and extinguished; or, that it is a thing with only a name, yea a name without a reality, a figment, in fine, introduced into the Church by Satan; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)

*****CANON 6. If any one saith, that it is not in man's power to make his ways evil, but that the works that are evil God worketh as well as those that are good, not permissively only, but properly, and of Himself, in such wise that the treason of Judas is no less His own proper work than the vocation of Paul; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (KJV) . . . NO one is predestined to do evil. It is his/her choice.

*****CANON 7. If any one saith, that all works done before Justification, in whatsoever way they be done, are truly sins, or merit the hatred of God; or that the more earnestly one strives to dispose himself for grace, the more grievously he sins: let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV) . . . Unless we confess our sins and turn to Jesus, NONE of our sins are forgiven, and we are enemies of God!

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV) . . . To be "saved from wrath through Him," means the whole work of Christ towards believers, from the moment of justification, when the wrath of God is turned away from them, until the Judge on the great white throne shall discharge that wrath upon them that "obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thes.1:8). Any work (good or bad) that we do BEFORE Christ is in our heart and lives, is an abomination to God.(Jer.6:20; Pro.15:9; Luke 16:15).

*****CANON 8. If any one saith, that the fear of hell,-whereby, by grieving for our sins, we flee unto the mercy of God, or refrain from sinning,-is a sin, or makes sinners worse; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Only Christ can remove the fear of Hell from us. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (KJV)

*****CANON 9. If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Rom.3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

*****CANON 10. If any one saith, that men are just without the justice of Christ, whereby He merited for us to be justified; or that it is by that justice itself that they are formally just; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

We are NOT justified WITHOUT the righteousness of Christ and His Work on the cross for us. 1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (KJV)

*****CANON 11. If any one saith, that men are justified, either by the sole imputation of the justice of Christ, or by the sole remission of sins, to the exclusion of the grace and the charity which is poured forth in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, and is inherent in them; or even that the grace, whereby we are justified, is only the favour of God; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV) . . . ONLY Jesus can save your soul!

*****CANON 12. If any one saith, that justifying faith is nothing else but confidence in the divine mercy which remits sins for Christ's sake; or, that this confidence alone is that whereby we are justified; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV)

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV)

*****CANON 13. If any one saith, that it is necessary for every one, for the obtaining the remission of sins, that he believe for certain, and without any wavering arising from his own infirmity and disposition, that his sins are forgiven him; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (KJV)

Micah 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. (KJV)

Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. (KJV)

Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (KJV) . . . You either believe God and KNOW that you are forgiven or have a constant feeling of doubt. Which is it for you?

*****CANON 14. If any one saith, that man is truly absolved from his sins and justified, because that he assuredly believed himself absolved and justified; or, that no one is truly justified but he who believes himself justified; and that, by this faith alone, absolution and justification are effected; let him be anathema.

Canon 13, Same as the above!

*****CANON 15. If any one saith, that a man, who is born again and justified, is bound of faith to believe that he is assuredly in the number of the predestinate; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Ephesians 1:3-8 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: [5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, [6] To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. [7] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [8] Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; (KJV)

Ephesians 1:11-12 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: [12] That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. (KJV) . . . YES! I KNOW that I am going to Heaven! Jesus says so! Thank You Jesus!!!

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV)

*****CANON 16. If any one saith, that he will for certain, of an absolute and infallible certainty, have that great gift of perseverance unto the end,-unless he have learned this by special revelation; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (KJV)

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. (KJV)

Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; (KJV)

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (KJV) . . . THANK YOU JESUS!!!

*****CANON 17. If any one saith, that the grace of Justification is only attained to by those who are predestined unto life; but that all others who are called, are called indeed, but receive not grace, as being, by the divine power, predestined unto evil; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

God does NOT predestinate anyone to evil. It is my humble opinion that God chooses all people for eternal life. But NOT everyone chooses to be with God. Only a "few" choose the narrow road to Heaven.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

*****CANON 18. If any one saith, that the commandments of God are, even for one that is justified and constituted in grace, impossible to keep; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

NO one can keep the commandments of God! Only ONE Man in all the billions of people who have ever lived in the world has ever kept the Commandments . . . and that was Jesus! IF we want to be righteous in God's eyes, we must believe God and accept Jesus. When we do this, God applies the righteousness of Jesus to us.

1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)

*****CANON 19. If any one saith, that nothing besides faith is commanded in the Gospel; that other things are indifferent, neither commanded nor prohibited, but free; or, that the ten commandments nowise appertain to Christians; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

The Ten Commandments were given to ISRAEL, NOT the church!

Exodus 20:1-2 And God spake all these words, saying, [2] I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. (KJV)

Deut. 5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. (KJV)

Here are the Commandments that JESUS gave to the church.

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV) And here are some more to match Jesus' Words!

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (KJV)

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (KJV)

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (KJV)

NO one can keep the Ten Commandments and IF you insist on trying, you shall be "cursed" because you must keep them ALL and that is more than the Ten Commandments . . . it is ALL the commandments which to my knowledge is 513!

Deut. 27:26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. (KJV)

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (KJV) . . . You CANNOT keep ALL the Commandments! NO WAY!!!

So, according to Jesus, people were under the Law until John the Baptist came.

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. (KJV)

Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. (KJV) . . . WHY then, did God give the Law? To show us just how wicked and guilty we are. But the Law was to last only until the coming of the Christ (Messiah) JESUS! Jesus made a better way for us!

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (KJV) . . . We are NOT under the Law - - - the Ten Commandments plus! We are under the GRACE of God!

*****CANON 21. If any one saith, that Christ Jesus was given of God to men, as a redeemer in whom to trust, and not also as a legislator whom to obey; let him be anathema.

Catholics are COMPLETELY against the Word of God.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Jesus is our Redeemer but also our LORD and we certainly should obey Him.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (KJV)

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (KJV)

*****CANON 22. If any one saith, that the justified, either is able to persevere, without the special help of God, in the justice received; or that, with that help, he is not able; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

After we are justified freely by the grace of God, He gives us the Holy Spirit to abide within us, to help us live a righteous life.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (KJV)

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)

Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. (KJV)

*****CANON 23. lf any one saith, that a man once justified can sin no more, nor lose grace, and that therefore he that falls and sins was never truly justified; or, on the other hand, that he is able, during his whole life, to avoid all sins, even those that are venial,-except by a special privilege from God, as the Church holds in regard of the Blessed Virgin; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

Romans 7:14-25 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. [15] For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. [16] If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. [17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. [19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. [20] Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [21] I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. [22] For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: [23] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. [24] O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (KJV) . . . Even when we are justified, we still have the sin nature, and we will sin. Even Paul, this man of God sinned as this Passage shows.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . I thank God for His love, mercy and forgiveness!

*****CANON 24. If any one saith, that the justice received is not preserved and also increased before God through good works; but that the said works are merely the fruits and signs of Justification obtained, but not a cause of the increase thereof; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

We are NOT saved by WORKS!!! We are saved by the amazing grace of God! But, AFTER we are saved, we WANT to do good works to show our appreciation to God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV). . . Salvation is a GIFT!

*****CANON 25. If any one saith, that, in every good work, the just sins venially at least, or-which is more intolerable still-mortally, and consequently deserves eternal punishments; and that for this cause only he is not damned, that God does not impute those works unto damnation; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . Sin is sin! Sin can be anything from an unkind thought to murder. It ALL is sin to God!

*****CANON 26. If any one saith, that the just ought not, for their good works done in God, to expect and hope for an eternal recompense from God, through His mercy and the merit of Jesus Christ, if so be that they persevere to the end in well doing and in keeping the divine commandments; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . God wants His children to KNOW that they have eternal life!

1 Cor. 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. [14] If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [15] If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (KJV) . . . We must build on Christ. Anything that we do for then cause of Christ AFTER we are saved shall survive the fire of judgment and we will receive a "reward," all else will be burned up. The Judgment Seat of Christ is to decide if we receive a reward or lose rewards we could have had. Our eternal destination was already decided when we accepted Jesus (John 1:12-13).

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV)

1 Peter 1:4-5 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
(KJV)

*****CANON 27. If any one saith, that there is no mortal sin but that of infidelity; or, that grace once received is not lost by any other sin, however grievous and enormous, save by that of infidelity; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . SIN IS SIN!!! Sin can be anything from an unkind thought to murder. It ALL is sin to God!

*****CANON 28. If any one saith, that, grace being lost through sin, faith also is always lost with it; or, that the faith which remains, though it be not a lively faith, is not a true faith; or, that he, who has faith without charity, is not a Chris taught; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . The moment that we truly become God's child (John 1:12-13), we are given the GIFT of the Holy Spirit to abide with us (John 3:5; 1 Cor.12:7,13), and He is with us "for ever." (Jn.14:16).

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (KJV) . . . FOR EVER!!!

*****CANON 29. If any one saith, that he, who has fallen after baptism, is not able by the grace of God to rise again; or, that he is able indeed to recover the justice which he has lost, but by faith alone without the sacrament of Penance, contrary to what the holy Roman and universal Church-instructed by Christ and his Apostles-has hitherto professed, observed, and taugh; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

God does NOT demand ANY sacraments, rituals or works for salvation! He GIVES us eternal life when we become His child (John 1:12-13). Salvation is by FAITH ALONE!!! NO sacraments required! It is a GIFT from our Heavenly Father!

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) . . . We are saved through FAITH! It is a GIFT of God! Very clear!!! NO sacraments needed!

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) . . . God is very clear: the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

*****CANON 30. If any one saith, that, after the grace of Justification has been received, to every penitent sinner the guilt is remitted, and the debt of eternal punishment is blotted out in such wise, that there remains not any debt of temporal punishment to be discharged either in this world, or in the next in Purgatory, before the entrance to the kingdom of heaven can be opened (to him); let him be anathema.

The BIBLE does NOT mention Purgatory anywhere in its pages! Purgatory is a FALSE Catholic doctrine that gives people false hope. It brings in money from grieving loved ones in hopes that their loved one will spend less time there if the church will have a mass on their behalf. Prayers for the dead do NO good at all.

*****CANON 31. If any one saith, that the justified sins when he performs good works with a view to an eternal recompense; let him be anathema.

If the "justified" person performs "good works" only because they want an eternal recompense, they are not sinners, but their heart is NOT in the right place. As I see it, we serve our precious Saviour and Lord because we love Him and are grateful that He saved us from the pits of Hell!

*****CANON 32. If any one saith, that the good works of one that is justified are in such manner the gifts of God, as that they are not also the good merits of him that is justified; or, that the said justified, by the good works which he performs through the grace of God and the merit of Jesus Christ, whose living member he is, does not truly merit increase of grace, eternal life, and the attainment of that eternal life,-if so be, however, that he depart in grace,-and also an increase of glory; let him be anathema.

The BIBLE clearly states the TRUTH:

This canon confuses the mind of this humble servant. Too much mumbo-jumbo! All I know is that we are saved by the grace of Almighty God when we believe God and accept Jesus (1 John 5:10-12), and it is FAITH ALONE that saves us.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (KJV)

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (KJV)

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV) . . . Justified by FAITH ALONE!

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2[ By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) . . . Justified by FAITH ALONE!

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (KJV) . . . Justified by FAITH ALONE!

John 3:15-16 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) . . . Jesus Words!

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV) . . . Jesus Words!

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (KJV) . . . Jesus Words!

1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) . . . Justified by FAITH ALONE!

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (KJV) . . . God's TRUE children abound in our HOPE of eternal life! Thank You Jesus!

*****CANON 33. If any one saith, that,by the Catholic doctrine touching Justification, by this holy Synod inset forth in this present decree, the glory of God, or the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ are in any way derogated from, and not rather that the truth of our faith, and the glory in fine of God and of Jesus Christ are rendered (more) illustrious; let him be anathema.

This canon also confuses me. All I know is that we are saved by the grace of Almighty God when we believe God and accept Jesus (1 John 5:10-12), and it is FAITH ALONE that saves us. And I also know that with this in-depth study of FALSE Catholic doctrines, I have really been enlightened. I always knew Catholics were wrong, but, the extent of it I did not know. They accuse Protestants of heresy, when in my eyes, it is ROME who is guilty of HERESY and IDOLATRY!

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) . . . Jesus' Words!!!

Consider the following:

Catholics stick stubbornly to the teachings that they have been taught. Anything that you believe is OK. They adamantly believe that they are going to Heaven because of their faith in the Catholic religion, and their good works and sacraments.

My dear friend, aAdding ANYTHING to faith alone in Jesus is a FALSE gospel, it is teaching another Jesus and another gospel (2 Cor.11:4) . . . and it is a definite road to hellfire (Eph.2:8-9; Rev.20:15). We must be saddened that millions are going to Hell, and we must try our best to reach these stubborn ones for Jesus,
http://www.hisservants.org/catholics_h_s.htm

We must love Catholics as people, and pray for their souls; but we must HATE Catholicism! It is NOT Biblical! It is man made commandments.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) . . . JESUS' Words . . . NOT mine!

What does JESUS say anout the 'rosary'?

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. (KJV)

What does JESUS say about calling the priests and the pope 'father'?

Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. (KJV)

NO priest or pope should be called 'father' in a spiritual sense, and certainly NOT 'holy father' or much more damning 'most holy father'. JESUS clearly states it is WRONG! God alone is our Heavenly Father!
