Jehovah's Witnesses Weird Beliefs

Their Strange Beliefs and Practices

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they are the only "true Christians." All other churches and denominations are considered "false religion" to JW's. They believe that there is NO Hell, NO eternal judgment.

1. God is NOT a Trinity. FALSE. Our eternal God IS a Trinity! No Trinity is a doctrine of the devil.

2. Jesus is NOT to be worshiped or prayed to. He is only an angel (Michael the archangel). FALSE. Jesus is the CREATOR, not a created being (John 1:1-3; Heb.1:2; Col.1:16-17). Jesus is GOD!

3. Jesus Christ is a "created being," who at one time did NOT exist. FALSE (John 1:1-3)

4. The Holy Spirit is NOT a Person but is "God's active force". FALSE. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. (John 14:17,23; Rom.5:5,9; 1 Cor.2:12; 3:16; 6:19; 1 Pet.1:21; 1 John 2:27).

5. Heaven is hope only for select Jehovah's Witnesses. The majority of JWs hope to live on "paradise earth." FALSE. Salvation (eternal life in Heaven) is available to ALL people (John 3:15-16,36; Heb.7:25).

6. Heaven is limited only to 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses. FALSE! The 144,000 are JEWS! (Rev.7:1-8). The Bible is SO clear on who these people are! That Passage is one of the clearest in the entire Bible!

7. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only "true Christians." All churches and denominations are considered "false religion" to them. FALSE. Jehovah's Witnesses do NOT believe in the Trinity, so THEY are the ones who are a FALSE region, a CULT!

8. There is NO Hell or eternal judgment ("Hell" is simply the grave). FALSE! There absolutely IS a literal Hell! Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) Jesus spoke many, many times on Hell: Mat.5:22,29; 7:23; 8:12; 10:28; 13:30,42, 50; 22:13; 23:15,33; 24:51; 25:41,46; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 12:5; 16:22-24; John 5:28-29. 9. There is no life after death except for the 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses. FALSE! The word "eternal" is in the Bible 53. The word "everlasting" is in the Bible 37 times. There absolutely IS eternal Life AND eternal death! (Is.26:19; Dan.12:1-2; Mat.8:8; 25:46; Mark 3:29; John 3:15-16,36; 5:24; 6:54; 10:28; Acts 24:15; 1 Pet.1:3; Rev.20:10,15.

10. Salvation is earned only by being a loyal Jehovah's Witness. FALSE! Salvation is available to ALL people! (Luke 12:8; John 3:15-16; 4:13-14; 11:26; Acts 2:21; 10:43; Rom.10:13).

11. Jesus second coming happened invisibly and secretly in 1914. FALSE! The Rapture has not yet happened (1 Thes.4:13-18). It is the next event on God's calendar.

12. The "first resurrection" occurred in 1918. FALSE. A part of the first resurrection will be the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18).

13. Jesus did not rise from the dead bodily but as a spirit being. FALSE! Oneness heresy! Jesus DID rise BODILY! (John 20:27).

14. Jesus was equal to Adam (just a man). FALSE! Jesus was/is GOD! (John 1:1-3; 10:25-30).

15. Jesus could have sinned and failed in his mission. FALSE! Jesus was sinless! (Heb.4:15; 7:26; 1 Pet.2:22; Isa.53:9). He did NOT fail His mission! (John 19:30).

16. Jesus was not born the savior but became the savior at his baptism. FALSE! Again the Oneness heresy!

17. God is not omnipresent. FALSE! God IS omnipresent! (Gen.28:16; Deut.4:39; 1 Kings 8:27; 19:9; 2 Chron.2:6; 6:18; Psalm 139:8; Pro.15:3; Isa.66:1; Jer.23:24; Acts 17:27)

18. God is not omniscient. FALSE! God IS omniscient! Josh.22:22; Job 26:6; 28:23; 31:4; 34:21; Psalm 139:4; 147:5; Pro.15:11; Isa.40:26; Eze.37:3; Amos 4:13; 2 Cor.12:2; Heb.4:13; 1 John 3:20)

19. JWs are not sure of their salvation. Too bad! TRUE Christians are! (John 20:31; 1 John 5:13)

20. All earthly governments are controlled by the Devil. FALSE! God is in complete control of ALL things, at all times!

21. The Holy Spirit is only available to select Jehovah's Witnesses. FALSE! Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV) IF the Holy Spirit does not dwell in a person, that person is NOT God's child!

22. The Watchtower organization is God's prophet on earth today. FALSE! Jesus has commissioned ALL TRUE Christians to "Go ye". (Mat.28:19).

23. The Lord's supper is only to be eaten by select Jehovah's Witnesses (144,000 group-99.99% of Jehovah's Witnesses are forbidden from taking the Lord's supper). This is absolutely opposing Jesus' command. 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (KJV) All TRUE Christians should take part in the Lord's Supper (Communion), for in doing so, we reverence the Lord's death till He come.

24. Only faithful Jehovah's Witnesses will survive Armageddon. FALSE!

25. Judgment day is 1000 years long. FALSE! The Millennial Kingdom is 1000 years! (Rev.20:1-8)

26. If you leave Jehovah's Witnesses or are expelled from the organization you will not be resurrected. FALSE! ALL people shall be resurrected! Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV)

27. Only Jehovah's Witness prayers are heard by God. FALSE! God hears prayers ONLY from TRUE Christians. (Job 27:9, Ps.66:18, Pro.28:9, Isa.1:15 Jer.11:11, Eze.8:18, Mic.3:4, Zech.7:13). God hears only the prayers of the righteous, NOT cult members (Ps.34:15; Pro.15:29).

28. God will destroy all non-Jehovah's Witnesses at Armageddon. FALSE! God's enemies will be destroyed at Armageddon.

Miscellaneous about Jehovah's Witnesses

The JW religion is referred to by the Witnesses as "The Truth"
The JWs call themselves "The only true Christians"
All other religions (pagan, Christian, or any world religion) are called "Babylon the Great"
All Christian pastors and ministers are called the "Antichrist"
Changes in doctrine is called "New Light" . . . GOD does NOT change! (Tit.1:2; Rom.3:4; 11:29; Heb.6:18).
A non-Witness is called "a worldly person"
A person who rejects the JW message is called a "goat" . . . Jesus calls the wicked "goats" in Mat.25:32-33. The Bible considers the "wicked" anyone who rejects Jesus as Saviour and Lord (Mat.12:45; Acts 2:23; 2 Pet.3:17).
Those who bring "new light" or new revelations to the JWs are called "The faithful and discreet slave" . . . GOD does NOT change! (Tit.1:2; Rom.3:4; 11:29; Heb.6:18).
