Does God Exist?

Theism and Biblical Faith vs. Atheism and Agnosticism

History is full of attempts both to argue FOR the existence of an Almighty Creator God and to REFUTE or contest the existence of "a God or gods."

Atheism is defined by Webster's New World Dictionary as: 1. the belief that there is no God, or denial that God or gods exist. 2. godlessness.

Agnosticism is a belief that no one can prove there is a God.

The atheist and his atheism.

So . . . an atheist is a person who believes that there is no God. But what does the Bible say?
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. (KJV)
Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. (KJV)

Atheism is a belief system that fiercely denies the existence of God. God calls the atheist a FOOL. Many atheists spend much time and effort trying to prove that God does not exist. But, according to the Bible, they KNOW that He exists.

Romans 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; [19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (KJV)

They want to be in complete control their lives and refuse to submit to the Lord. They are tragic figures just like any other unsaved individual. It is hard to live out their atheism . . . if they did, they'd actually be considered crazy like O'Hair was.

The atheist's RELIGION of atheism (which is simply a system of beliefs based on a philosophy), is simply a way to try to block out and override the Truth . . . like the ostrich with its head in the sand.

To you atheists . . . there is a God and His Truth has stood from the beginning of time and will continue for all eternity. God does NOT depend on you in any way. Blasphemies, violence, wars, famines, and political appointments come and go, but when all is said and done, there's Jesus! And there is nothing you can do to change this FACT! One day when you stand before that awesome and frightening Great White Throne, you WILL humble yourself before the Lord Jesus, and you WILL then admit that there IS a God!

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (KJV)
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. (KJV)
Philip. 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (KJV)

If what the atheist believes is REALLY his belief, then he would leave Christians alone. For, if God did not exist, as they blatantly and foolishly state, God and His children would not . . . could not . . . be an enemy to them. Christians would just be deceived people. So . . . IF the atheist REALLY believes there is no God and attacks a Christian, he is a fool, just like the Bible says, because the Christian is not his enemy.

BUT . . . God is real, God does exist . . . and THAT is why atheists TRY to prove that God does not exist.

I have heard of some atheists who had been atheists for years . . . but as they lay on their death bed, they ask for a pastor. WHY??? When it's their time to die, many atheists must be very uneasy . . . and those that aren't SHOULD be terrified. WHY? Here’s the answer!
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)

There absolutely is hope for any atheist. BUT, he/she (whosoever) MUST be saved.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)

I refuse to argue with an atheist, but I will answer their sincere questions. When some inmate writes to me and wants to know where I stand on a certain doctrine, I write back and tell them what I believe. But IF they write back and disagree with me, I refuse to argue with them.

Sad to say, many atheists foolishly and carelessly say offensive and blasphemous things about our Lord Jesus Christ and His people. This One (Jesus) who holds their eternal destiny in His Hands is the only One who can offer them eternal life and spiritual comfort, and peace, and contentment, and love. Can an atheist’s “religion” offer ANY of these? NO! Definetely NO! All their “religion” can offer is condemnation, Hell fire and the wrath of God.

The atheist will tell a God-fearing person stupid things like:
you came from a rock,
a monkey is your daddy,
a fish is your cousin,
you have no hope,
live just for today,
when you're dead, you're dead. This one I’ve heard many times! Such stupidity!

If you are dumb enough and listen to their ignorant advice . . . .you shall die without Christ, and you shall eternally regret it and . . . you will have memories in Hell, remembering that someone told you the Truth but you scoffed and ridiculed them.

Atheists put up their biggest arguement, trying to say God doesn’t exist, God is not real they say. BUT, a Fact that is firmly established . . . God does exist . . . God is real. How can anyone look at His Creation and its ways and honestly deny it? Can anyone, no matter how brilliant they think they are, figure out HOW God controls His Universe? Can anyone measure Heaven? Can anyone search out the foundations of the Earth? NO way my friend! It takes the God of the Bible who created ALL things to control ALL things!

Jeremiah 31:35-37 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: [36] If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. [37] Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord. (KJV)

Just as 2+2=4 . . . 1+1+1=3 . . . God DOES exist! Atheism is a FALSE belief system designed by fools! It is NOT something new. The Bible tells about atheism thousands of years ago. Is there really, a real atheist? I honestly cannot see how there is. So-called atheists are people who have told themselves lies so many times that they think it is true.

The Atheist makes a serious and DEADLY mistake of deliberately rejecting the Truth! Is Atheism really a mistake? NO! Atheism is NO mistake! It is the conscious and willing rejection of the Almighty, Creator God. Children are not atheists. A person becomes an atheist when they have been brainwashed by some heathen teacher in a public school or godless university . . . OR by atheist parents. Romans 1:18 teaches that mankind, even in his unrighteousness, HOLDS THE TRUTH. We read in the Word of God: Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) To ALL men! God's saving grace is extended to ALL humanity! ALL people hold the Truth in their hands! It is the individual who chooses to accept or reject that Truth! Hold it OR throw it away!

Proverbs 1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: (KJV) Nearly every home in America has a Bible! But how many open it to become wise? It is there for ALL people, but FEW hear of listen! (Mat.7:13-14). The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Good News for EVERYONE. If you want to be saved, it is not too late. If your heart hasn't become hardened by unbelief to the point where you refuse to call upon the Lord for forgiveness, then you can be saved. It is the same sun which melts the wax that also hardens the clay. The same Bible which can melt one person's heart, can cause another's to become hardened in unbelief (John 16:9).

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV) There is only ONE thing which can keep you from becoming a born-again believer, and my friend that is YOU! God loves you and wants to save you! The atheist makes the stupid mistake of rejecting God.

According to the Word of God, there is NO such thing as an Atheist.
Romans 1:21-22 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (KJV) IF a person is honest, he/she knows that there is a God, it is simply man's love for sin that causes him to run from the light of God's Word.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (KJV)
The Bible teaches that the INVISIBLE things of Creation are CLEARLY seen by the things which are visible . . . Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (KJV) Do you see what God says? ALL people will be WITHOUT EXCUSE. Often someone will ask me how a God of love could ever send anyone to burn in Hell. (My own mother!) The answer is in the verse we just read . . . WITHOUT EXCUSE! If you or anyone else goes to Hell, it will be your own fault, because YOU made the wrong decision! You will have NO one to blame but yourself and your stubborn wicked pride that prevented you from coming to Jesus Christ for salvation.

John 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (KJV) Jesus has NEVER turned His Back on anyone who comes to Him . . . NEVER! But, He will not beg you nor force His love on you. It all lies in your hands! You do NOT have to go to Hell my friend. You know deep down in your heart that atheism is nothing more than anger and bitterness against a Holy and Righteous God. That is what is stopping you from coming to Christ for salvation. Why won’t you give up that sinful lifestyle that will lead you to the Lake of Fire? Why is the bitterness against God so deep-rooted in your heart? Were you hurt by someone who professed to be a "Christian," but they turned out to be a sheep in wolf's clothing? My friend, there are millions of hypocrites out there! Just because someone claims to be a "Christian," it does NOT mean that they are. Even the devil himself appears as a Christian (2 Cor.11:14). Your pride is keeping you from the love, contentment and peace of Jesus. Go to Him NOW for forgiveness. Confess your sins to Christ and ask Him to forgive and save you. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (KJV) Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV) Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV) Whosoever, no matter WHAT you have done in the past!

The atheist's mistake really is NO mistake! It is a deliberate and rebellious rejection of the the one ond only Saviour, Jesus Christ . . . Who is Almighty God (John 10:30). Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)

Would God Send Me to Hell?

Another question: Do the police put criminals in jail?

People come up with all kinds of arguments against Almighty God as if He could not possibly be Good or Great. My friend . . . God is Good! He is Great! And He NEVER makes a mistake! He is always right! People’s blasphemies will one day end! Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. (KJV) Also: Isa.45:23.

Psalm 2:1-5 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? [2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, [3] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. [4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. [5] Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. (KJV) God is good, loving, kind and forgiving . . . BUT . . . God is also a God of WRATH, righteous wrath against them who hate, disobey and blaspheme Him and His. The LORD one day shall speak out against them in His anger.

Some scoffers really believe that God is not good because He does put people Hell. These God haters simply shall follow the lead of their devil-possessed mother, Nutty Madalyn O'Hair . . . right into Hell. She says . . . "We find God to be sadistic, brutal and a representation of hatred." I wonder what she thinks today!

That's right, Madalyn O'Hair was NOT an atheist! Shocked? An atheist by definition is: Someone who denies the existence of God. You can't express utter contempt for a God Who doesn't exist. Madalyn O'Hair hated God and the Bible. It's irrefutable evidence against any professed "atheist" who curses in God's Name, talks about how much they hate God, and spends their life attacking a Person that allegedly "doesn't exist." No one hates God as much as professed "atheists." Madalyn Murray O'Hair was NO atheist. Her very hatred for God manifested her belief in God. Madalyn O'Hair was consumed with hatred and anger against a God that she claimed didn't exist.

Madalyn's eldest son, William (now an evangelist), said this of his mother in his testimony...
"I was born into a home of near constant rage and violence. As a result of my mother's constant angry outbursts, she could not hold down a job. She, my brother and I, lived with her parents and my unmarried uncle. My grandfather had never filed an income tax return and most of what he did do during his life was illegal or ill advised. My grandmother read Tarot cards and sent out demons by burning human hair. My uncle kept hoards of pornography in his room and my mother filled the house with statues of mating animals which she worshipped."

If anyone is sadistic, brutal and hateful, it was "Mad Madalyn." William J. Murray further states concerning his mother…“When I was a young boy of ten or eleven years old she would come home and brag about spending the day in X-rated movie theaters in downtown Baltimore...”

“My mother delighted in hiring unrepentant criminals to work in her atheist office. She particularly enjoyed hiring convicted murderers who had served their time but were unrepentant about what they had done...”

“My mother was an evil person ... Not for removing prayer from America's schools ... No ... She was just evil. She stole huge amounts of money. She misused the trust of people. She cheated children out of their parents' inheritance. She cheated on her taxes and even stole from her own organizations. She once printed up phony stock certificates on her own printing press to try to take over another atheist publishing company. I could go on but I won't. All the money my mother made in this manner stayed behind. It did not go with her. 'For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out’” (1st Timothy 6:7).

"Mad Madalyn" lived out her professed atheism. No atheist should be ashamed of her and her profane life and words, for she was the epitome of every professed "atheist." She lived a reckless life of self-indulgence, wickedness and rebellion against the God of the Bible. No one curses God more than professed atheists. Truthfully, there is NO such thing as a genuine atheist, only wannabes, i.e., people who prefer to live as if there is no God in their unrepentant minds.
Ultimately, O'Hair's bad company brought her own tragic demise and that of her precious family..."The dismembered bodies of Madalyn Murray O’Hair, Jon Murray and Robin Murray were found in January of 2000 in Camp Wood, Texas. One of the killers, David Waters, led the authorities to the site in return for a guarantee he would serve his time in a Federal rather than in a Texas state prison. He died of prison of liver decease in 2003. A second killer was sentenced to live in prison."

PRAISE GOD! In 1980, William Murray was baptised at a Baptist church in Dallas, where he took up work as a preacher. This led to a permanent estrangement between mother and son. As she put it, "One could call this a postnatal abortion on the part of a mother, I guess; I repudiate him entirely and completely for now and all times...he is beyond human forgiveness."

The Bottom Line

Hades is a specially prepared holding place for ALL unbelievers and haters of God . . . just like the county jail holds people for their trial. ALL unbelievers and haters of God shall have their trial on Judgment Day (Rev.20:11-15), and ALL of them shall hear the same verdict from Judge Jesus: "Go to the lake of fire for eternity!" And my friend, in the lake of fire there is NO parole, NO cable TV, NO radio, NO water, NO friends, NO comfort of any kind, NO exit doors, NO reprieve and constant agony.

There are only two PLACES in the afterlife . . . Heaven and Hell (the Lake of Fire). If you are unsaved you absolutely shall go to Hell. Because Jesus rose from the dead, you too will be resurrected to live forever . . . some where! Heaven? Hell? your choice! Death is NOT a deep sleep, it is everlasting consciousness.

IF you do not seek after your Creator and ask for a pardon, God has NO choice! He is just and right! He made a Way for you to avoid Hell! He does NOT want you or anyone else to go there . . . but, the vast majority of people shall end up there. There is only one way you'll get a pardon . . . the precious Blood of Jesus. Christ Jesus left His glory in Heaven and came to the Earth to suffer and bleed and die on a Roman cross to pay for YOUR sins. He did NOT have to do it, He did NOT have any sins of His own (Heb.4:15; 9:28). JESUS is God. He loved you so much that He came to pay OUR sin debt! All that you have to do is believe this! IF you go to Hell, you have no one to blame but your self. ALL unbelievers are still stuck in the same old filthy mess where I once was, before I got washed in the Blood. Make the right choice. AFTER death, it is too late, no matter what Catholics or other cults say. Believe God! Not cults.
