SERVANTS' MINISTRY www.worldlychaos.org Welcome to our website What Are Some Falsehoods About Angels? False: Angels
are here to help us through our present time on Earth; to
enlighten and harmonize our lives. True: Angels
are ministering spirits (Heb.1:14) sent by God to do HIS
will in believers (Ps.103:20). Their only interest and duty
is God’s will and God’s Kingdom.   False: Angels
reveal to humans that they are gods here on Earth. True: Angels
are indeed God’s messengers, but they only reveal God’s
plans and purpose for His children. Messages from an infinite
God to finite humans.    False: Angels
are guardians for ALL people, not just God’s chosen ones. True: Angels
are NOT sent to guard unbelievers; just those who have become
God’s children by acceptance of Christ (Heb.1:14; Ps.91:9-11).   False: Angels
encourage people to create their own religions and religious
              experiences. True: Good angels
are true to God their Maker, and they worship and serve
only Him and would never encourage anyone to do otherwise.    False: Angels
can be contacted through divination (spiritism) so you can
learn wisdom from them. True: Humans cannot make contact
with God’s holy angels. Contact with demons (evil angels)
is strictly prohibited by God (Deut.18:10-12). God’s Word
never pictures believers seeking contact with angels, but
they can show up when we least expect them (Luke 2:9-10).    False: Angels
can be contacted through Eastern meditation. True: God’s holy
angels cannot be contacted through any method of meditation. Biblical
              meditation is God-centered NOT angel-centered (Ps.19:14;
              48:9).   False: Humans
can pray directly to angels for help or comfort, or to make
sure our prayers are heard and reached by God. True: ALL prayer
is to be directed only to God, NOT to angels, NOT to so-called man-made saints,
NOT to any other person whatsoever. God does NOT
need any help with hearing the prayers of His children,
nor in answering them (Ps.34:15; 65:2).    False: Humans
can spiritually ‘charge’ crystals with energy from angels,
and then use those crystals to attract angels to help them. True: Crystals
are simply pretty rocks created by God (John 1:3). Any use
of crystals is of the occult (witchcraft), and is an abomination
to God and absolutely condemned by Him (Deut.18:10-12).   False: Humans
can write letters to angels, asking for whatever they desire.
Letters are ‘mailed; by either burning them, or placing
them on the family altar. True: What an
utterly ridiculous notion! NO where in the Bible does it
say anything about writing letters to angels! We cannot summon God’s holy angels for any reason. IF God thinks there is cause for an angel
to visit us for any reason, the angel will make contact
with us (at God’s command), NOT the other way around.   False: Angels
can and do answer letters from humans; if we surrender our
mind completely to the angel. He will answer the letter
to us by using our own hands. True: This is
called ‘automatic handwriting’ in the occult, and is utterly
              condemned by Almighty God! Again, we  cannot contact God’s holy angels at any time;
although it is possible to contact evil angels (demons). Warning! Don’t
              do it!   False: We can
attract different angels by color-coordinating our clothes
closet. Guardian angels prefer pink or rose, cherubims like
blue, and Michael the Archangel likes gold or rose. True: This is
plain stupidity! We cannot bring about angelic activity into our lives by anything
we do. Angels become involved in our lives only on the command
of God and His will for us, not anything we do (Ps.103:20).    False: God is
judgmental; angels are always compassionate to us. True: No holy
angel of God will ever do anything other than point us to
the one and only true God. The Bible condemns all worship
of angels (Col.2:18). God’s holy angels will always reject
any worship from humans (Rev.19:10; 22:8-9). It is true,
angels can be compassionate, but they also execute God’s
judgment upon sinful people (Acts 12:23; Rev.8:5-13).   False: We can
obtain help from God through angels without going through
God. True: Angels never act as
mediators between God and humans. Only our Saviour has that
              power (1 Tim.2:5; 1 John 2:1).    False: Angels
can be summoned to help us solve our personal problems with
              others. True: God’s holy
angels cannot be summoned for any reason. We should turn only to
God with all problems. The law of love should always govern
              us.   False: We can
communicate with dead people through the angels. True: God strictly
forbids any contact with the dead (Deut.18:11).
Holy angels will never participate in anything forbidden
              by God.   False: Angels
can re-program our minds; turning negative thoughts into
              positive ones. True: Only the
Word of God and Holy Spirit can cleanse and renew our minds
              (Eph.5:26; Tit.3:5; 1 Pet.1:22).    False: Angels
can help develop us into the perfect people we should be. True: Angels cannot develop
us into anything! Only God can work holiness into our lives
through sanctification (1 Thes.5:23). Not one of us will
ever be perfect in this life (1 John 1:8). True believers
will be perfect when we receive our new glorified bodies
at the Rapture (Phil.3:21; Col.3:4).   False: We can
summon angels and demand what we want from life. Angels
will then bring about what we want. True: We cannot name it and claim it! Angels cannot be summoned to do anything! God’s holy angels carry out
God’s requests, NOT ours (Ps.103:20).    False: Angels
have special healing abilities. They can rearrange cells
and build up low immune systems. True: Angels cannot heal anyone!
Only God has healing powers (Ex.15:26; Num.12:13; Deut.32:39:
              Ps.103:3).    False: Angels
can comfort us by being a cheering squad for us. True: Angels
can bring encouragement to believers (Acts 27:23-24), but
they are never a cheering squad! The only time angels
cheer is when a sinner repents and turns to Jesus (Luke
              15:10).    False: Angels
can help people gain a higher power in their lives. True: There is only ONE Higher Power for "born again" believers, and that is the One and only God of the Bible (Ex.20:4-5).
False: Angels can act as co-pilots in our lives. We just need to let go and let them take control. True: The only One we need to let go and surrender to is Christ, NOT angels (Romans 12:1). Angels are simply willing servants of God, as we should be. FALLEN ANGELS (Evil angels, demons) When God originally created angels, He created them all good and holy (Gen.1:31; 2:3). But, it seems that God gave all the angels a time period in which they could decide what they wanted to do; stay in their state of holiness, or fall from God’s grace (Jude 1:6). There arose a great angelic rebellion, led by what I can gather, the most beautiful angel ever created, Lucifer (Eze.28:11-19; Is.14:12-17). God’s Word states that one third of all the angels decided to follow Lucifer (Rev.12:10). When the rebellious angels were expelled from Heaven, Lucifer’s name was changed to Satan, meaning adversary, and the once good and holy angels then became demons. Once they left their "first estate" there was no turning back for them. Satan has many names in the Bible: "accuser of the brethren" (Rev.12:10), "our adversary" (1 Pet.5:8), "the devil" (Mat.4:1), "the enemy" (Mat.13:39), "the evil one" (1 John 5:19), the "father of lies" (John 8:44), a "murderer " (John 8:44), a "roaring lion" (1 Pet.5:8-9), the "tempter" (Mat.4:3), the "prince of the power of the air" (Ep.2:2), the "god of this age" (2 Cor.4:4), the "king of death" (Heb.2:14), the "prince of this world" (John 12:31), the "ruler of darkness" (Eph.6:12), "Leviathan" or one who dwells in the sea of humanity (Is.27:1), "Lucifer" (Is.14:12), the "dragon" (Rev.12:7), the "deceiver" (Rev.20:10), "Apollyon" (Rev.9:11), "Beelzebub" or prince of demons (Mat.12:24), "Belial" (2 Cor.6:15), the "wicked one" (Mat.13:38), "an angel of light" (2 Cor.11:14-15), "a liar" (John 8:44; Gen.3:4-5). Why Are Angels so Popular? (1.) There is a dramatic spiritual revival today, everything from Christianity to the New Age movement to the dark side of the occult and witchcraft. All this has greatly increased people’s interest in angels and spirits (demons). (2.) Widely accredited TV programs and unnumbered books on the subject of angels, has brought about a fascination with angels. (3.) There seems to be a preexisting belief in angels in so-called Christianity and pagan religions in the world. (4.) People are never satisfied, and are always looking for answers to their problems and their purpose in life. They seem to think angels may provide them with answers. Many foolishly think angels hold the answers to life and turn to them instead of God, the only one who can truly help. (5.) Many people have the mistaken idea that angels are only good, never evil; and they try to contact them, thinking angels are loving and will enlighten them spiritually. If angels can be contacted they think, why not try? But, as stated before, God’s holy angels cannot be contacted; just the evil ones lurking in the darkness, out to destroy you. Today’s popular angels are deceiving millions of people, giving the impression that angels can be personal friends, guidance counselors and spiritual advisors. This is utterly false! The purpose of holy angels is to help mankind, at God’s command, not ours! And the precise and specific goal of evil angels (demons) is to deceive us in any way they can. As far as the so-called apparitions supposedly seen by some today, and considered as "signs," I cannot go along with this. Jesus said there would be no more signs! Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.[KJV] There are many teachers who influence millions of trusting souls. Teaching the Word of God is a great concern to me, for I know that I will be held accountable by God, for all that I teach (James 3:1). I try to back up everything I write or say, by the Word of God. Teaching the Word of God falsely is my greatest fear! And I know the more we know, the greater our burden (Luke 12:48). False Doctrines Easter? or Resurrection Day?
