Ultimate Witchcraft

I have NOT read any Harry Potter books, nor will I do so. What I have written here is from a great deal of research, but NOT from the books themselves. What I have read in my research makes me sick!

There is great danger in the Harry Potter books. Many think it is just harmless fantasy. Yes! It is fantasy, but it is filled with witchcraft and demonology. There is a grave danger is to young children, or anyone who reads this evil trash. Parents think it gets children reading books who never would do so before. These fantasy books are especially dangerous to their souls, for they are teaching your child witchcraft.

Some people see nothing at all wrong with a book about fantasy, mythology, or witchcraft and even some so-called believers will see nothing wrong with mixing the occult with God.

1 Tim. 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV)

There are many books about Witchcraft, but none quite like Harry Potter! Satan is really showing himself as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14) in these books, by focusing on children. The kids want the books because all their friends have them. Most parents will knuckle under and buy the books for their kids. Big mistake Mom! Big mistake Dad! You are NOT doing any favors for that young un!

BUT . . . there are SO many adults who are also amused and absorbed with the content of these books. And what is extremely sickening, Christians, or so-called Christians, are part of the fan club.

Have Christians backslidden so far that they can't tell what Witchcraft is? Preachers . . . you are NOT doing your job!!! You are supposed to expose this wickedness and inform your flock. You are supposed to be a "watchman" to God's people!!! (Ps.127:1; Isa.21:6; Eze.3:17; 33:6-7).

The bad part, preachers are joining in the festivities and do NOT want to rock the boat. Halloween is accepted in the church and many of the so-called Christians fight hard when told they should not take part. Easter egg hunts is yet another abomination to Almighty God that many churches engage in during Ressurection Day. Halloween is an abomination to God, AND so are all books that glorify witchcraft or any kind of occult, AND the people who write them shall be held accountable at the Judgment!!!

Satan's purpose behind these books is to desensitize readers and introduce them to the occult. Satan is and always has been extremely shrewd and cunning! And any chance he gets to turn people away from God, he will take!!! Harry Potter introduces tolerance and acceptance of what God calls an "abomination" to young minds and also minds of adults who are in disobedience to Almighty God.

In the Harry Potter books, adults are depicted as hateful and strict and the wizards and other creatures are the good guys. This type of writing is nothing more then Satan trying to undermine the family. Kids get these books and then live in a fantasy world and rebel against there parents.

Here is a quote from the author: "The idea that we could have a child who escapes from the confines of the adult world and goes somewhere where he has power, both literally and metaphorically, really appealed to me." Power is appealing, yes, but the so-called "white" witchcraft is made to look innocent . . . which it certainly is NOT!!!

Do you see what she says about the child having power? What she is saying is that the child needs to have power and control over parents and also to have the power of the occult. The author also uses occult terms in her thinking. Look at this new age phrase. "I have a very visual imagination. I see it, then I try to describe what is in my mind's eye," This minds eye concept is the heart of the new age movement. It is the ability to escape ones confines of this world and to explore the other dimensions of existence.

Most Christians recognize the good vs. evil element as being clearly delineated. Evil is evil, and good is good, and good is promoted while evil is not. But in the Harry Potter books, the line is not so clear. The "good" guys practice "white magic", while the bad guys practice the "Dark Arts". Readers become fascinated with the magic used (explained in remarkable detail). Yet God is clear in Scripture that any practice of magic is an "abomination" to him. God doesn't distinguish between "white" and "dark" magic since they both originate from the same source . . . the devil!!!

Some teachers are reading these books to their classes. Your tax dollars are being used to promote Witchcraft . . . and NO one is coming against it. IF a Bible or Jesus is mentioned in school, you could well be locked up. Pagans state that theirs is a bona-fide religion with the same rights as Christianity. So why are they allowed to teach their religion in the schools?

The reading phenomenon known as "Harry Potter" is sweeping the globe, and it truly has an international presence as readers in 200 nations, in over 40 languages, indulge in this series. Public school educators and many parents in America are thrilled with a series that has captured the imagination of children like no other in history, prompting a revived interest in reading. Reading is a good thing, but not all is as innocent as Potter fans would have others believe.

A Fantasy World

Witchcraft is NOT fantasy; it is a sinful reality in the world, and it is extremely dangerous to your soul. Witchcraft can send you to HELL!!!

J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, has gone through much research. She is very accurate. What she writes is a true representation of witchcraft, the black arts and black magic. But still, people say this is just fantasy and is harmless reading for children. But, what makes this more dangerous is that it steeps in fantasy language, made to be humorous. It is carefully written and provocative reading and after reading it, children want the next one. This is what is so harmful. Like drugs!

People do not fully realize what they're dealing with, and I think anyone who knows anything about spiritual warfare (Eph.6:12), knows those books can open the door to spiritual bondage. It opens the doors for young minds. IF sorcery is put in, what do you you think will come out? Any concerned parent agrees.

With the growing popularity of youth-oriented TV shows on witchcraft, and now with Harry Potter . . . children are becoming desensitized to the occult.

The evidence is clear that the Harry Potter books promotes an interest in magic and the occult. Parents, whether Christian or not, must take an active role in what their children are being exposed to and determine what is appropriate. Christians especially should be guided by God's Word, the Bible.

So, what should a Christian do? Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you lead your family in taking a Biblical view of morality, seeking to please God (and not conforming to the world). Be concerned about the fact of eternity. See what the Bible says about the occult. Know how Christians are to react to it. Warn your friends who may be unsure of Harry Potter.

Listen to what God has to say!!!

Deut. 18:9-14 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. [10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. [12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. [13] Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. [14] For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do. (KJV) We are to avoid all witchcraft!

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (KJV) Train up a child in the way he shoud go! Allowing him/her to read Harry Potter books is NOT the right "way".

Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. (KJV) Preachers should teach their flocks right from wrong!

Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (KJV) HATE evil!

1 Cor. 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (KJV) You cannot serve two masters.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (KJV) Jesus says so!

2 Cor. 6:14-17 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (KJV) You are EITHER a follower of Christ . . . OR you are a follower of the devil! You CANNOT be both!

Ephes. 5:11-12 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. [12] For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (KJV) Harry Potter is unfruitful works of darkness! BEWARE!!!

Philip. 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (KJV) Only Christ can keep you on the strait and narrow road!

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (KJV) Stay on the path of light with Jesus! Do NOT compromise with the world! Stay away from Harry Potter and ALL witchcraft!

1 Thes. 5:21-22 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil. (KJV) Stay away from all evil!

James 1:27-B and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (KJV) Keep yourself clean before God! Do NOT go along with the world!

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. (KJV) Follow only what is good. All those who do good prove that they are God's children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God. Witchcraft is evil! Witchcraft is of the devil!

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (KJV) The children of God are those who obey Him and doeswhat is right. The children of the devil is anyone who does not obey God and follows Satan's evil ways!
