Falsehoods of Satan

Most people never think about Satanism unless there is a gruesome murder and satanic symbols are found at the crime scene. Many who believe there is a devil usually think of him as being a dark figures. What they do NOT understand is that the Bible tells us that the devil can also reveal himself as an “angel of light” In reference to false converts within the Church, the Bible says: 2 Cor.11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (KJV)
It seems that Satan has three forms under which he tempts people:
#1. The subtle serpent.
#2. The roaring lion.
#3. The angel of light.
As an angel of light, Satan talks people into doing things in the name of religion, which are in fact, total opposition and rebellion of it. In the form of heathen persecution, like a lion he has ravaged the children of God. And by means of our senses and passions, as the subtle serpent, he has repeatedly deceived us, and so very often the workings of corrupt nature are mistaken for the operations of the Spirit of God. So, since Satan himself is able to appear as an angel of light, it should not be strange that those who are serve the devil (his children, 1 Jn.3:10), also should be like him. Satan, is an apostate (traitor) angel; who is malicious and wicked. He is also the prince of all evil, and can assume the appearance of a holy angel, a good angel! Satan can put on false and deceptive appearances just to deceive, or where he assumed the appearance of great sanctity and reverence for the authority of God. Such instances occurred in the temptation of our first parents (Gen.3:1-6), and in the temptation of the Saviour (Mat.4). The phrase, an angel of light, means a good and pure and holy angel . . . for light being the symbol of purity and holiness. Such are all the angels that dwell in Heaven; and the idea is, that Satan takes on such a form as to APPEAR to be such an angel.

Satan and his methods are extremely understated. We are warned that he uses professing men of God (ministers, preachers of righteousness) to deceive the Church. The Bible calls him “the god of this world” (2 Cor.4:4) and says that he blinds the minds of unbelievers. He is called “the prince of the power of the air” (Eph.2:2). Jesus called him “the prince of this world” (Jn.12:31; 14:30; 16:11) and “the father of lies” (Jn.8:44).

The Scriptures continually warn the Church against his tricks, using words such as “be not deceived” and telling us to “be vigilant.” Satan has influence on you and me and is responsible for the terrible deception (false doctrine) in the Churches!  He is everywhere, all the time, because he has so many children (1 Jn.3 :10). WHAT do you think is the greatest and most subtle of Satan’s deceptions?

John 8:42-44 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV)

Unsaved people [unbelievers] live in the kingdom of darkness with the devil. It really is simple: IF we are disobeying God, we are serving Satan. We are the devil's children . . . NOT God’s children! 1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (KJV)

If we continue in sin, our appetites are unclean. What is it that you crave? Think of the contents of the soap operas or prime time television shows: adultery, fornication, gossip, greed, immorality, jealously, lust, rape. Movies today are filled with cursing, filthy language, graphic murder, clear and obvious sex, and violence. Is THAT what God expects from His children???  You know the answer to that!

What about the covers of magazines in bookstores and supermarkets. They are “soft-core” pornography, which a few years ago was considered hard-core and hidden from young eyes. What about video games that kids crave? They are extremely violent and sexually perverted. What about most rap/hip-hop music . . . explicit sexuality, blasphemy and its dark satanic side. What about the internet’s multi-billion-dollar hard-core porn industry or how the average person uses filthy words and blasphemy in their speech every day. Life in the dirty pigsty has become normal, natural and completely acceptable.

Satan truly is the god of this immoral world, deceiving millions. But his deception has NOT stopped there. It has moved into the church, and most Christians are accepting it without speaking up against it. https://www.godcannotlie.org/true_children_of_god.htm

Even though the Bible says that Satan is real, and a deceiver, and the god of this world who blinds minds . . . consider the following, according to the Barna Research Group: In 2004, an incredible 50% of those who profess to be “born again” actually deny Satan’s existence.

I cannot believe that! Even though the Bible tells us the devil IS alive and real . . .  50% of those who profess to be TRUE Christians DENY Satan exists. And what is really scary, when a person denies that Satan exists . . . they let their guard down . . . and they allow Satan bring in his lies.

Satan KNOWS the right place to corrupt the Church . . . and that is at the point of entry . . . so he makes sure to distort the Gospel that is the only thing that can bring people into the Kingdom of God.

This is what has happened in America . . . and the world! Christians have not been on guard as to what that crafty devil has been up to. We let one thing go by . . . and he sets another one in place, etc. The Church has allowed Satan to contaminate the Gospel (Mat.15:8-9; 2 Cor.11:4; Gal.1:6-8)! We have allowed countless pastors in the Church to move away from the Truth of Scripture. They refuse to preach the Law (the Ten Commandments) to bring the knowledge of sin (like Jesus did) and show that sin is “exceedingly sinful” (Rom.7:13). The Apostle Paul said that he did not know what sin was without the Law (Gal.3:24). FALSE preachers say that they have found a shortcut to bring people to salvation. How utterly ridiculous!
