WHAT Is Sin?

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV)

This is one of the clearest Scriptures in the entire Word of God that reveals that the unsaved (unbelievers) will burn in Hell forever. The word vengeance means a revenging punishment. In today's modern times, the teaching is that a loving God would never allow anyone to suffer in the flames of Hell for eternity, The above Scripture clearly states the opposite!

The Bible plainly tells us that those who refuse to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ shall be tormented in the flames of Hell by the wrath of God forever. To me, when I think of being separated from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power for ever . . . THAT would be HELL!

There are SO many people today who foolishly deny that Hell exists. I think that the following Scripture indicts them.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV) . . . Do you see what this states? The UNBELIEVING will be cast into the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.

Few people today really want the Truth. And those who bring the Truth, are being hated more and more all the time! We are hated, looked down on and persecuted. I am comforted when I claim Jesus’ Promise as mine: Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV)

My prayer is that unbelievers would repent and be saved, but with each passing day, I see more and more people willingly accepting the wickedness in this world. It is getting to the point where it reminds me of: Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (KJV) . . . WHAT did God do in that situation? He promised to destroy them, and He did!
Genesis 6:6-7 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (KJV)
Genesis 7:21-22 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. (KJV)

Do you honestly think that God will let this wicked godlessness keep on? I KNOW that He will NOT! Judgment is coming! I believe that the next event on God’s calendar is the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18). When Jesus calls out the TRUE church, the Great Tribulation period will begin. My friend, you do NOT want to be part of that horrible time (Mat.24:21), and you do not have to be. Faith in Jesus is your way out!

The awful truth today is that most people are WILLINGLY ignorant of the Truth of God’s Word, because of the wickedness of their heart (Jer.17:9). Jesus clearly states: Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. (KJV)
Most religious people (professing Christians), go to church without CHRIST in their hearts! A person can PROFESS to be a Christian . . . BUT . . . IF they do POSSESS Christ in their heart, they are simply hypocrites (Mat.23). Our gentle Jesus called these professors some horrible things in Matthew 23. Dear one, if you take C-H-R-I-S-T out of Christian . . . WHAT do you have left? NOTHING!!!

The Law of God condemns mankind (Rom.3:10,19,23). ALL of us are guilty sinners, and we deserve eternal punishment in Hell (Rom.6:23; Rev.20:11-15). Most people have a hard time grasping this because instead of comparing themselves to a Holy God, they compare themselves with other sinners. If we compare our self with God's Law, it is then we see that we are utterly guilty. If anyone rejects the Gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ and His work on the cross), then he/she must pay the penalty of all his own sins. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) . . . ANY person who has willingly rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ, dies in their sins. And contrary to the Catholic religion, NO one can pray a soul to Heaven! There is absolutely NO such teaching in the BIBLE! That is a HORRIFIC man-made rule to give people FALSE hope! Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) . . . BEWARE!!! Believe God, NOT the Catholic Church! They are false teachers!

God will take vengeance upon any and all unbelievers with flaming fire because of their rebellion and sinful pride. That person will be punished in Hell for each and every sin ever committed in their lifetime. BEWARE!!! Believe God's Word!
