HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY

Welcome to our website

GUILT Feeling

Forgiveness is God's answer to the problem of guilt we feel. Guilt is a reality. Everybody has felt it. It is an unpleasant combination of emotions and reason which tells us that something is wrong . . . with us! Guilt is caused by the fact that we have done wrong. Those guilty feelings demonstrate that we, as humans, are made in the image of God, and have a moral nature. God alone, is the One who defines what SIN is. Trying to make excuses for your sin will NOT work on Judgment day! Everyone is doing it. Times have changed. It is not as bad as his sin.
God specifically defines SIN in the Bible (Isa.59:1-8; Rom.1:19-32; 1 John 3:4, 8-9), but even if people do not know what the Bible says, God's Holy Spirit works in their consciences (even in unbelievers) to convince them that they are guilty when they have done something wrong. It is impossible to get away with sin in God’s Eyes!

Ecc. 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (KJV)
Rom. 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (KJV)
Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: (KJV)
Mark 7:21-22 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22  Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: (KJV)

Consequences (end results) of SIN

There are some natural, expected results when we sin. A lie could lead to great embarrassment. Anger often leads to shame. A quick temper (impatience) most often leads to regret. The sin of promiscuity may lead to disease. But, this is only what usually happens and does not take into consideration the sentence (condemnation) which God hands down for sin. God is absolutely just, and He is totally holy and pure. He would be neither just nor holy nor pure if He did NOT punish sin but allowed it to go on

For the wages of sin is death

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) . . . ALL people are free to choose between two masters. Each of the two masters pays with his own kind of wages. The wages of sin is death. That is all you can ever expect or hope for in a life without God. On the other hand, Christ’s wages is eternal life; a new life with God that begins on Earth and continues forever with God in Heaven (John 5:24).

Eternal life is a FREE gift from God.

Eternal life is NOT something that we earn, NOT something that we can buy, NOT something we must pay back. Consider the foolishness of someone who receives a gift given out of love and then offers to pay for it. Our salvation is a GIFT of God, not something of our own doing (Eph.2:8-9). God saved us because of His mercy, not because of any good things we have done (Titus 3:5).This verse is the heart of the Gospel.
Any laborer is worthy of his hire, and so it is with the wages we shall receive at the end of this earthly life. The wages the sinner (unbeliever) shall receive will be eternal death. Eternal life is in NO way the wages of our righteousness for nothing can earn it. It is "the gift of God." We receive eternal life only by the amazing grace of God! Jesus Christ our Lord, is the Righteous Channel to it, and the ONLY Channel to it (John 14:6). “Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen!” (Rev. 1:5-6).

Death and life are before ALL people who hear the Gospel. The one is the proper reward for sin; the other, the absolutely free "Gift of God" to sinners, “in Jesus Christ our Lord.” The one is the conscious sense of the hopeless eternal loss; the other is the conscious possession and enjoyment of eternal Heaven (John 14:2-3; 1 Pet.1:3-5).
Deut. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (KJV) . . .

May I strongly suggest that you choose life with Jesus!

Even though all our lives include physical death, (unless we are called away in the Rapture 1 Thes. 4:13-18), it is not limited to just that. There is without a doubt, a second death (Rev.2:11; 20:6,14; 21:8). The Apostle John tells us: Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) . . . Death, the final enemy of man, is removed; there will be no more death! Hades, translated Hell in the New Testament, is the prison where lost souls are kept until this Judgment. The lost will no longer be in Hades, but the Lake of Fire (Hell). God’s judgment is finished. The Lake of Fire is the ultimate destination of everything wicked; Satan, the beast, the false prophet, the demons, death, Hades, and all those whose names are not recorded in the Book of Life. Only faith in Jesus Christ can place your name in this Book. There are NO gray areas in God’s judgment! NO maybes! If you have NOT confessed Christ as Saviour and Lord, there will be NO hope of Heaven for you, NO second chance, NO appeals. Is your name in the Book of Life?
