There is great determination in the church today to unite professing Christians of ALL denominations and beliefs. Their message is that we are not so different after all . . . and we can work together.

WHAT does GOD have to say???

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. This Passage FORBIDS uniting believers and unbelievers! WHO are you going to listen to . . . Satan OR God??? God clearly states “Come out from among them” (Ps.1:1-3; Pro.9;6; Isa.52:11; Jer.51:6; 1 Cor.10:20-21; 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor.7:1; Jam.4:4; Rev.18:4). That means do NOT go along with this evil Apostate Ecumenical Movement! IF you do, you shall be piling up sin for Judgment Day: (Isa.30:1; Rom.2:5; 2 Tim.3:13).

For Satan to rule Earth autocratically (domineering, tyrannical, as a dictator), he must not only consolidate governments and currencies, but he also must consolidate religious belief systems.

His long-term strategy is:
#1. Divide religion into sects on the divide and conquer principle;
#2. Assault religion's foundations, creating doubts among believers;
#3. Gather all the splinter groups together into a one-world religion (ecumenism).

The modern ecumenical movement throws open its wide gate, urging everyone to come in, thus uniting professing Christians of all denominations and beliefs. Their message is that we are not so different after all. We can work together. Ecumenism is defined as "the organized attempt to bring about the cooperation and unity of all believers in Christ." BEWARE!!!

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (KJV)

Things are well in place. What remains is HOW to motivate churches to unite. Because denominations often disagree on theology, the plan is to encourage working together where they agree, such as helping the poor and sick. This ended in the Social Gospel, which is socialism (worldly things) masked as religion.

Is this sign being fulfilled in our day? YES! Absolutely! The Ecumenical Movement is uniting the world in an effort to bring peace in religion . . . which is IMPOSSIBLE! Churches and political leaders are uniting like never before in an effort to bring peace to this world. But my dear friend . . . this Ecumenical Movement is NOT of God, because we as God's TRUE people are NOT to unite with the world or any false religion!

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (KJV)

1Thes. 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (KJV) . . . When they declare peace and safety, then destruction will come upon them.

The Ecumenical Movement is built on the WRONG premise that misleads sincere Christians into a counterfeit, FALSE unity. This is NOT the unity of the Spirit. It is NOT the spiritual oneness of the Body of Christ which our Saviour had prayed for. The Ecumenical Movement is an UNHOLY organization of a bunch of nuts! The TRUE Church is composed only of born-again Christians whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life (Rev.20:15).

The Ecumenical Movement Compromises the TRUTH of Almighty God

Undiluted preaching from God's Holy Word and a bold stand on Truth are on the way out! What we are now seeing is a spreading of another Jesus and another gospel (2 Cor.11:4), and a ridiculous redefining of what it means to be a Christian. There is a growing pressure on inclusion and tolerance. Faith in Jesus seems to have no part in Ecumenism. God's Word is totally neglected, man’s knowledge is valued above the Truth of the Bible, a false and selfish (me-me) "faith" is promoted, and sound doctrine and correction are hated and shunned as being divisive and unloving. BEWARE!!!

Totally Ignoring the Scriptures is common in the Ecumenical Movement.

Many so-called evangelical leaders today claim that concern for sound doctrine causes division . . . so it should be avoided so there will be more love and unity among the brethren. BUT . . . the Holy Bible is in direct opposition to this! BEWARE!!!

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. (KJV)
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (KJV)

Divisions, NOT unity, is created by teachings that are contrary to sound doctrine. Unity in the faith is impossible without the doctrine of Christ. Without such a foundation we have no basis for the faith, for the Gospel, for knowing Jesus, or for knowing anything related to the Truth.

Question??? Is there a "common ground" between belief and unbelief? The Bible clearly states NO! A TRUE believer cannot ignore major doctrinal differences between himself and an unbeliever. We MUST come out from among them!
