Belief in God? Faith in God?
SO MUCH UNBELIEF!

Most people think both belief in God and faith in God are the same. They are NOT the same!
Believing in God is like believing in gravity. I know that gravity exists even though I can’t hear it, see it, touch it, taste it or smell it. It is far beyond my natural senses, I believe in it because I can see its effects. Gravity keeps everything on the earth. Without gravity, we could not be here.

And it is the same with the existence of God . . . I cannot see Him, hear Him, touch Him, taste Him or smell Him, but I can certainly SEE the things of God. Everywhere I look, I can see that God was here and IS here! He created this Universe and everything in it . . . and it is sure that what I see tells me there was and IS a Creator God! I KNOW there is a Creator . . . and that is what it means to believe in God.

To have faith in God means to trust in His goodness and honesty. It means I trust in the exceptional and countless precious Promises given to us in the Holy Word of God. There are many things in life that we trust. We trust our friends and doctors. Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please him . . . HOW did Enoch (Gen.5:24) please God? By faith. My friend, unless you are willing to believe God (1 Jn.5:10), and come to Him, HIS way, there is NO way that you can please God. IF you refuse to believe Him, and reject His only begotten Son’s once for all Sacrifice . . . you are defying and rebelling against God. If you are an unbeliever who wants no part of God . . . when you rebel against Him, you shall bring the wrath of God down on you, big time! There will be NO appeal of the verdict of Hell for you . . . UNLESS you change your mind BEFORE you die, BEFORE Judgment Day . . . so, STOP agitating God by your disobedience to our Almighty Creator.

Believing that God exists is only the beginning. BEWARE!!! Even the demons believe that much (Jam.2:19-20). God will NOT settle that you just admit that He exists. He wants you to have faith that He is Who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do! Faith in Him leads to an active personal fellowship with Him. God is always true and faithful to His Promises; for He is the God of grace, love and mercy. We must believe in Him, not only as the God of nature and providence, but as our covenant God and we must believe what He states in His Holy Word. Don’t be a fool and call God a “Liar” (1 John 5:10).

Read this again!
Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV) . . . Dear one, we must SEEK God through Christ Jesus, because that (HE, Jesus) is the ONLY Place where God the Father is to be found! And when we seek Him, we must seek Him with our whole heart.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
We must never forget that God is a Rewarder, in a way of His amazing grace. The Best Reward we can ever have is JESUS! Jesus is our exceeding Great Reward, for without Him, we have nothing in God’s eyes. But, with JESUS, we have some awesome privileges!

Heb. 3:12  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. (KJV)
Heb. 3:18-19 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. (KJV)

Do you trust God, and His Promises . . . or do you simply believe He exists?
Pro. 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (KJV)
Just trust God like a little child trusts his father. This is the complete opposite of the world’s so-called intelligence.

Psalm 50:16-17 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. (KJV)

The wicked [unbelievers] hate instruction (Isa.1:15.) Hypocrites will mention God's Covenant simply to reveal their religious knowledge, as if they were able to teach others, and to judge their neighbors (Rom.2:18). The Law was given NOT only to be spoken, but to DO (Rom.2:13). This is the sparce soil out of which Antichrist, the last breaker of the "covenant," shall spring (Dan.9:27; 11:30). ALL who do so wickedly, against the Covenant, shall stand before Judge Jesus one day, and they will NOT like the verdict!

Paul describes the characteristics of professors in the last days when they are ripe for Antichrist's appearance. 2 Tim. 3:1-9 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. (KJV)

Dear one "instruction in righteousness" is why God placed rules in the covenant, which unbelievers 'takest in thy mouth,' and profess to "declare" (Ps.50:16; 19:7; 2 Tim.3:16). To "hate reproof," is according to the worldly-wise man is "brutish."
Questions:
1. Do YOU hate God’s Rules?
2. Do YOU cast God’s Word behind you?
3. Do YOU give your mouth to evil?
4. Does YOUR tongue find ways to deceive?

Unbelief is a lack of trust and is truly a highly understated sin. Because of unbelief, Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Unbelief brought God’s wrath on Jerusalem. Zechariah was rightly struck dumb for his unbelief . . . dear one . . . doubting God is really very stupid. Before Jesus opened the Scriptures to two disciples on the Road to Emmaus, He began by saying: Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: (KJV)
Anyone is a fool IF they do not believe what the Scriptures say.
Unbelief [refusing to believe God] abolishes any belief you may have. Why did Adam sin? Because he did not believe that God would hold him accountable for his disobedience. And his unbelief brought him death, disease, pain and endless suffering . . . not only for him, but for the whole human race. Do NOT follow in his foolish footsteps. Do not call God a “Liar:!! King David thought it was OK to take another man’s wife . . . then he took the woman’s’ husband’s life, because of UNBELIEF of what God Promises. His ridiculous unbelief pushed far away any fear of God that he had. He doubted that God would hold him accountable. But God DID hold him accountable!

Judas betrayed Jesus for a lousy 30 pieces of silver because he did not believe that there would be any real penalties for his sin. Unbelief put a noose around his faithless neck, and it will put one around yours and choke you to death IF you let it.

Any and ALL those who refuse to believe the Promises of God will fall for the treachery of Satan. If you refuse to believe and stand on the TRUTHS of the Scriptures, you will fall for the lies of the devil. Jesus commanded: Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. (KJV) . . . Because there are terrifying penalties if you refuse to do so.

If the enemy can’t get you from the outside . . . he will get you from the inside! Seeds of doubt become weeds that choke our faith. Unbelief gradually decreases any trust in God you might have had! When we don’t love God as we should, it leaves our heart’s door WIDE OPEN for the devil!

Deut. 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (KJV)
Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV)

The heart of a TRUE Christian is to love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of our heart. Without Him we have no hope in our death. We live for Him, and we live because of Him. He is our wonderful Saviour and glorious Coming King.

TRUE obedience depends on the correct knowledge of God. NO one can keep His commandments IF they are not familiar with His nature, His perfections and His right to demand obedience.
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart . . . meaning that we MUST love Him supremely, more than all other beings and/or things (Mat.10:37-38). We must be devoted to Him. To love Him with all the heart is to lock our affections totally on Him, being willing to give up all that we hold dear at His command, if it were ever to come to that.
And with all thy soul . . . all our life, meaning to be willing to give our life to Him, and to devote our life to His service. We must be willing to live for Him, and to be willing to die for Him IF He so commands. This is rare in America, so far! But I see it getting closer and closer. Chaplains are forbidden to name the Name of Jesus to the military! This is absurd! The Name of Jesus is the ONLY Thing that can save them!  Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (KJV)
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. (KJV) . . . BEWARE!!! If you refuse to name the Name of Jesus . . . you are ashamed of Him!

1 Cor.16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. (KJV)
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV) . . . The word anathema rightly means accursed or condemned to destruction . . . and the very clear idea here is that anyone who did not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and love Him above all else (Mat.10:37-38), would be condemned to eternal destruction, or cursed by God. It rightly expresses a Truth in respect to God's dealings with sin. My dear friend . . . no matter what any man's gifts might be; no matter what his wealth is, or his standing, or his talent; no matter if he is a ruler in the church, or at the head of a party . . . IF anyone does NOT have TRUE love for the Lord Jesus Christ, he could not, nor would be saved. This Truth is in agreement with the declaration of many other Scriptures. See: (Ps.2:12; Pro.8:36; Jn3:3-8,18,36; 14:6; Mk.16:16; Acts 4:12; Heb.2:3; 10:26-29; 12:25; 1 Jn.5:10-12; Rev.20:15).  
Let him be Anathema . . . this is a firm PREDICTION of what would certainly come upon all them (and us) if they did not repent, but continued to denounce, to hate, to utterly detest the Lord Jesus. It greatly saddens me because there are millions in the world today because they continue to hate, to absolutely detest the Lord Jesus, the Redeemer of the world. This is one of the most solemn, prophetic warnings in the New Testament! BEWARE!!!

Anyone without Jesus, is still in their sins awaiting God’s just wrath. See what John the Baptist states: Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (KJV)

What about the Sadducees? The first time they are mentioned is in connection with John the Baptist's ministry. The next time they are spoken of they are represented as coming to our Lord tempting Him. Jesus calls them "hypocrites" and "a wicked and adulterous generation" (Mat.16:1-4; 22:23). The only reference to them in the Gospels (Mk.12:18-27; Lk.20:27-38), is their attempting to ridicule the doctrine of the resurrection, which they denied, as they also denied the existence of angels. They are not mentioned in John's Gospel.

There were many Sadducees among the "elders" of the Sanhedrin. They seem to have been as many as the Pharisees (Acts 23:6). They showed their hatred of Jesus in taking part in condemning Him (Mat.16:21; 26:1-3,59; Mk.8:31; Lk.9:22; 22:66). They tried to stop the apostles from preaching the resurrection of Christ (Acts 2:24,31,32; 4:1-2; 5:17,24-28).

Are there any forewarnings of an approaching storm? YES, absolutely! Birds droop their wings; cattle group and lower their heads in terror; dogs become extremely agitated and panicked; leaves on trees show their underside, the sky grows black, and the sun hides its face; and the heavens above seem angry and frowning! How awful to await the dreaded hurricane or tornado that is to come! What terrible anxiety it is to wait until the wind rushes forth in fury, ripping out huge trees from their roots, and utterly destroying the homes of the people.

Sinner . . . is this is your present position . . . are you prepared for the coming storm from God which absolutely shall take place! The Word of God clearly tells us that there is a BAD storm on its way to the world! The Bible clearly tells us of End Time Judgments! Please pay attention to GOD!!

A shower of terror is coming to ALL left behind after the “Rapture”.  There are no terrible howling winds yet, but God’s horrible storm is gathering its dreaded artillery. God’s floods are still dammed up by His mercy, but ever so soon, He shall open the floodgates! God’s scary thunderbolts and winds are still in His storehouse, but when this storm gets here, sinners shall see just how horrendous this storm shall be . . . Almighty God shall be robed in retaliation and vengeance, marching forth in fury! WHERE O sinner, will you be able to hide? WHERE will you be able to flee?

O dear one, let God’s present hand of mercy lead you NOW to Christ, BEFORE this storm arrives! I pray that you see that you need Him! Trust Him, believe in Him, cast yourself in His loving Arms, and then the wrath of God’s coming storm shall be over for you.
