SO MUCH FALSEHOOD EVERYWHERE!

There are just a meager “few” (Mat.7:14; 22:14) who would deny that America has truly fallen into unparalleled immorality. WHO is to blame for this? Is it the greedy government? YES! Is it the power-hungry politicians? YES! Is it corrupt Hollywood? YES! Is it the ‘know it all’ liberal media? YES! BUT . . . dear one . . . I also think much lies with false pastors in the pulpits of the nation. James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. (KJV)
Masters means "teachers." . . . This verse scares me! Teachers shall receive greater condemnation in the judgment! I do not know why God gave me the gift of teaching, but He did. This verse really does scare me, BUT . . . I have a greater fear of disobeying God. He told me to teach, so I must teach! If it is of God, it will stand, if not, it will fall (Acts 5:39). After 26 years, our tiny, humble ministry is still standing.

James, Jesus’ brother, is saying that a teacher [that includes me], has a huge responsibility, because there is great danger of teaching falsely. I am overwhelmed at the way so many 'supposed' Christians fall for all the "damnable heresies" (2 Per.2:1). All a teacher needs today is a smooth tongue. People are accepting all kinds of crazy things. Yet, as far as the TRUTH in God's Word is concerned, these teachers are completely ignorant. IF a pastor is NOT teaching what God’s Holy Word teaches . . . they are a FALSE teacher and a child of the devil, NOT a child of God! (1 John 3:10).

I believe that there are only a skimpy “few” in this world today, that “fear God”! The word fear can mean two things: #1. Fear = admiration, awe, respect, reverence. #2. Fear = agony, anxiety, dread, horror, fright, panic, scared, terrified.

If you are a child of God, it can mean you admire, stand in awe of, have a deep respect for, adore, honor and worship Him! BUT . . . IF you are a child of the devil (1 Jn.3:10) . . . you want no part of God, and dear one, if not now . . . one day you shall dread and be terrified of what our awesome God has in store for you. Please consider these words!

The fear of God is something that we must never let go of! WHY? Because we are surrounded by invisible forces that are deadly. After describing the universal depravity of man in Romans 3, Paul gives us the reason for all the wickedness of this world in verses 10-18:

Romans 3:10-18 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15  Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. (KJV)

Psalm 14:1-3 A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2  he LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (KJV)
NO one is innocent. NO one can earn a right standing with God without Jesus! But God the Father, through Jesus His Son, has redeemed us and offers to forgive us IF we turn to Him in faith. ALL mankind is under the burden, guilt and dominion of sin. We ALL are slaves to sin and we ALL think, say and do evil. There are multitudes who call themselves Christians, but their speech and conduct prove that there is absolutely NO fear of God; and where there is no fear of God, only wickedness is revealed.

All humanity, in its present sinful condition is unacceptable to God. No one is the person they should be, or could be, without Jesus!

Have you ever thought???  I’m not really bad. I’m pretty good considering some people around me. Have YOU ever lied? Have YOU ever hurt someone’s feelings by piercing words or the tone of your voice? Do YOU have bitter thoughts about anyone? Do YOU lose your temper with anyone who disagrees with you? Did YOU ever repeat gossip about someone?
In thought, word and deed, we ALL stand guilty before God. We must remember WHO we really are in His sight; rebellious sinners. You CANNOT deny that YOU are a sinner. Without Christ Jesus, we ALL disobey God.

Romans 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: [KJV]
Have you ever known a person whose mouth was “full of cursing and bitterness”? The world is full of them! From a homeless person on skid row, to a high ranking official, they all seem familiar with cursing, deceit, fraud, vanity, etc. It seems all tongues are full of mischief, and movies and TV are right at the top!
Some people talk in dirty, disgusting ways. Have you ever smelled decaying flesh? It is sickening. That’s the way some people’s language is. They speak lies, it is like the poison of a deadly snake coming from their lips. A rattlesnake bite can be dangerous, but it cannot hurt a person’s reputation. But gossip can totally ruin the good name and reputation of a person. Is your tongue vicious? (Jam.1:26; 3:5-6,8; 1 Pet.3:10).

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. [KJV] . . . Isn’t that a horrifying picture of mankind! If ever we saw ourselves, as God sees us, we could not stand ourselves.
“But I’m not a murderer” you say! 1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. [KJV] . . . First, let me say that this verse does NOT teach that a murderer cannot be saved. Christ paid the penalty for ALL sins, even taking the life of another. When a person TRULY repents of a sin (ANY sin), God is merciful and gracious to forgive that sin. In this verse God states that IF we hate our brother, we are no better than a murderer. WHY? Jesus taught that whoever hates another person is a murderer at heart (Mat.5:21-22). Christianity is a ‘religion of the heart.’ Outward allegiance alone, is NOT enough. Christianity starts in the heart! If we hate someone for something they have done to us, it is like a bitterness (hostility, spiteful, malicious, resentment) in our heart. It’s like a malignant cancer within you that will eventually destroy you. Don’t let the “root of bitterness” (Heb.12:15) start to grow in you. Stomp it out before it kills you.
Wherever some people go, they leave a wide path of destruction and misery behind them. This is NOT what a TRUE Christian does.

Romans 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known: [KJV]
The human race does NOT know the way of peace. Look around you, read the newspaper, listen to the news. There is conflict and wars everywhere! There is NO peace in the world, and there will NOT be any till Jesus comes. Jesus is the only Way of true peace in your life. Isaiah 57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. (KJV) Jer. 8:11 . . . Peace, peace; when there is no peace. (KJV) Eze. 13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD. (KJV)
Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. [KJV]
These verses describe multitudes of unbelievers . . . and also multitudes who call themselves Christians. They profess to be a Christian, BUT they do NOT possess Christ in their heart. Their morality and behavior prove that they have NO FEAR OF GOD whatsoever.

WHY doesn’t this world understand this? WHY are they so filled with bitterness, cursing, deceit, and never-ending violence? The answer is: Because there is no fear of God before their eyes. Sad to say, the doctrine of the fear of the Lord is frowned on by so many in the modern-day Church. They teach that God is love and, so He should NOT be feared. How STUPID!!! Dear one . . . God tells us differently. It tells us that the “fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Pro.9:10). Those who do NOT fear God have a long way to go before they become wise. God also tells us that the fear of God is what causes men and women to depart from evil: Pro. 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. (KJV)

Oh, that the fear of God be put into the hearts of careless and sin-loving sinners . . . but modern preachers FAIL to do this, and the end result is a Church that has absolutely NO fear of God. It also results in a drought of moral influence on America! Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (KJV)
If we are too much like the world, and compromise with the world, we are good for nothing, worthless. We must NOT blend in with everyone else. We should affect others in a good way, just as salt brings out the best flavor in food. God’s people in any age and under any condition should be salt in the world.

We have put our candle under a bushel! Shame on us!

Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. (KJV)
 If we live for Christ, we will glow like lights, showing others what Christ is like.
Can we hide our light? YES! We hide our light by:
(1) Being quiet when we should speak,
(2) Going along with the crowd, compromising with the world,
(3) Denying the light by being ashamed of Christ (Mark 8:38),
(4) Letting sin dim our light, for unbelievers are watching us,
(5) Not explaining our light to others. 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (KJV) or
(6) Ignoring the needs of others. 
TRUE Christians must be a beacon of truth! Do NOT shut your light off from the rest of the world. This verse says that you and I are to let our light so shine in this world that we may glorify our Father which is in heaven.

This is the state of the modern-day Church in America. It has become unimportant. And in the meantime, the world sinks further and further into moral depravity. God help us, please!

WHY Has all this happened? Because thousands of the unredeemed preachers fill our pulpits. A recently released research reveals that at least one-third of senior pastors in the United States believe we can earn a place in Heaven by being a good person. Other pastors said that moral truth is personal, fornication is “morally acceptable,” and Biblical teaching on the slaughter of babies in the womb is “unfathomable.” They forget all about the Sixth Commandment . . . Thou shalt not kill. (Ex.20:13)

Romans 8:7-8 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (KJV)
The sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never wants to obey God's laws, and it never will. That's why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. The approval and grace of God, the well-being of our soul, concerns of eternity; these are things of the Spirit, and only those that are spiritually minded even consider.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)
What a verse this is! It clearly tells us IF we are a TRUE child of God or not! IF you are “in Christ” you are NOT controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Holy Spirit, for you have the Spirit of God living in you. And once you are presented with the Holy Spirit, you have Him for ever! John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (KJV) . . . 2 John 1:2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. (KJV) . . . God would NOT give us His Spirit, IF we were NOT sincere about our faith in Jesus! And Once we receive the Spirit, God will NOT take him away. This is only one reason that I believe in OSAS! Once saved, always saved!

Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his . . . Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ living within them, are NOT Christians.

This simply confirms that these pastors are NOT reinforced by the Holy Spirit. What they believe flies in the face of Jesus Himself (John 14:6). SO, the Truth is: they believe in a different Jesus and preach another gospel: Gal. 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (KJV)
2 Cor. 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. (KJV)

These preachers are false apostles, deceitful workers, pretending to be servants of Christ . . . just like their father, Satan (1 John 3:10). For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.  2 Cor. 11:13-14 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (KJV)

We need faithful shepherds who will be bold, daring and faithful to preach the TRUTH of God to our churches, and we ae finding it less and less with each passing day!
