HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY

www.worldlychaos.org

Welcome to our website

Masonry is a Religion

There is a very basic and important error in Masonry that SHOULD stop a Christian from being a member of a Lodge. That flaw is: Masonry is a religion! Masonry is as much a religion as is any Church Denomination. Could a person be a member of the Baptist Church and the Methodist Church at the same time, unlikely but could be . . . yet there are hundreds that are 'supposed' Christians, that are members of the Mason sat the same time. I say 'supposed' Christians because IF a person is a TRUE Christian, they would find out exactly what that organization believes and teaches BEFORE they joined, and then they would stay far away! See: TRUE Christian. https://www.godcannotlie.org/true_children_of_god.htm

A.G. Mackey (1807-1881) was the Mason’s Past General High Priest and Secretary of the Supreme Council, for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States. One would think that he knew what he was talking about . . . right?  Mackey is universally recognized as one of the greatest Masonic historians that our fraternity has ever produced. The Masonic Textbook says Mackey was a Masonic authority and scholar. He was called “one of the greatest students and most widely followed authorities the Masonic world has known.”

What Does Mackey Say About the Lodge?

Mackey’s testimony is that the Lodge is a religion! He said, “. . . I contend, without any sort of hesitation, that Masonry is, in every sense of the word, a highly religious institution . . . that it is indebted solely to the religious element which it contains for its origin and for its continued existence, and that without this religious element it would scarcely be worthy of cultivation by the wise and good” (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry [1927] 727).

Mackey continued, “Masonry may rightfully claim to be called a religious institution” (ibid. 728). And if that were not sufficient to establish this authority’s view about the Lodge, he added, “Masonry, then, is, indeed a religious institution; and on this ground mainly, if not alone, should the religious Mason defend it” (ibid. 729). Does the testimony of this Masonic leader prove the point at issue?

Another quotation that states the religious nature of Masonry is should be included here. “As set forth and defined in the Preamble of the Constitution and Regulations of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, the purposes of Freemasonry are charitable, benevolent, educational and Religious” (Introduction to Freemasonry for Massachusetts 8).

Note this Masonic prayer: “Vouchsafe Thine aid, Almighty Father of the Universe, to this our present convention. Grant that this candidate for Freemasonry may dedicate and devote his life to Thy service, and become a true and faithful Brother among us. Endue him with a competency of Thy Divine Wisdom, that by the influence of the pure principles of our order he may be better enabled to display the beauties of Brotherly Love . . . to the honor of Thy Holy Name. Amen” (First degree Lecture, Ohio Monitor, 9). IF THE LODGE IS NOT A RELIGION, WHY DOES IT USE PRAYERS?

Consider this funeral prayer used by the Lodge: “. . . and may we gain entrance into the celestial Lodge above, and in Thy Glorious Presence, amidst ineffable mysteries, enjoy a reunion with the souls of our departed friends, perfect as are the joys of Heaven and durable as Eternity. Amen. So mote it be” (Ohio Monitor, 54).
They believe that being a good Mason will get them into Heaven. BUT . . . our ONE and ONLY Almighty Creator God does NOT agree with that!

The Bible states something totally different . . . and that is that OBEDIENCE to the LORD GOD is the only thing that will accomplish this glorious result.
Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. (KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.  (KJV)
John 6:47-48 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. (KJV)
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (KJV)
John 15:13-14 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. (KJV)
Rom. 3:22-28 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (KJV)

Why does God save us by faith alone?

  • #1. Faith wipes out any pride of human effort, because faith is not a deed that we can do.
  • #2. Faith glorifies what God HAS DONE, not what people do.
  • #3. Faith tells us we cannot keep the law or measure up to God’s standards; we must have help.
  • #4. Faith is based on our relationship with God, NOT our performance for God.

Faith forms a personal relationship with Jesus and the sinner, in which the believer is pardoned and justified for Jesus’ sake. The unbeliever who is not united to, or committed and devoted to Jesus, remains under God’s condemnation (John 3:18,36; 8:24).

A Ridiculous Absurdity
The first degree for the Mason is the Entered Apprentice Degree. The Mason solemnly swears that he will live by the rules of the order, saying, “All this I most solemnly and sincerely promise and swear . . . binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by its roots and buried in the rough sands of the sea at low water mark, . . . should I ever knowingly violate this my solemn obligation of an Entered Apprentice Mason. So help me God, and keep me in the due performance of same” (Handbook of Freemasonry, by Edmond Ronayne, 70).
In the next degree, the Fellow Craft Degree, the Mason swears to keep the secrets of the Lodge: “. . . binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my breast torn open; my heart plucked out and given as a prey to the wild beasts of the field, and the fowls of the air” if he should ever reveal Masonic secrets (ibid. 123). If one of your kids came home and told you he had swore such a barbaric oath to join a club, you would be livid! How could an adult swear something so absurd as this?
Masonry is a religion which claims its teachings will get its members into Heaven. It involves worship, as does any religion, and requires (demands) its members to agree to absurd oaths. This is NOT just an innocent brotherly organization.
Can a TRUE Christian be a Mason? The answer to that is a definite NO, absolutely NOT! Masonry is a FALSE religion (cult) that will cause a Christian to lose his soul to the eternal pits of HELL!
Mat.15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV)
But in vain do they worship me . . . their attempts to worship are vain, simply mere forms.
Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men . . . doctrines mean the requirements of religion, things to be believed and practiced in religion. Only God has a right to state what shall be done in His service . . . but they held their traditions to be far above the written Word of God, and taught them as doctrines (Col.2:22). The same thing goes on today! My friend, WORSHIP is really our fear (respect, reverence) towards God. If a church or CULT teaches traditions and false doctrines, they are NOT worshiping God as they should. BEWARE!!!
http://www.hisservants.org/false_doctrines_h_s.htm
The Masons teach for their doctrines the commandments of men, just like the Pharisees of old, in Jesus’ time. This is SO WRONG!!!
In this humble old ones’ mind, a person can belong to as many organizations as they please . . . BUT they cannot be a TRUE Christian and a Mason at the same time! A TRUE Christian loves our awesome Triune God . . . the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD of this Universe!
And we must love the Lord God with all our heart, mind and soul, and worship NO other ‘god’ except Him! Do NOT be deceived by falsehoods that you will eternally regret!

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

Jesus tells us that God did NOT send Him into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Whosoever does not believe in Him is condemned ALREADY! Jesus does not condemn them, THEY condemn themselves! People simply do NOT believe God! In reality, they are calling God a "liar" (1 John 5:10-12). Friend, if you do NOT believe what God says about His Son, YOU ARE CONDEMNED ALREADY! WHY? Because "he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." The wonderful Name is Jesus! His Name is Jesus, and He is the Saviour of the world. "Whosoever" . . . ANYONE who will believe in THAT Name is NO longer under condemnation but HAS everlasting life (John 5:24).
Hath (has) everlasting life. WHAT are the conditions of eternal life? #1. Knowledge of what the Son has done for you; #2. Believe that He did it for you; #3. Trusting Him to forgive you and save your soul for eternity. #4. FAITH that He can do it! These are necessary before any person can be accepted by God the Father.

We make many decisions every day.
Pray to decide the right way.
