Welcome to our website

Different Levels of Masonry

In addition to the three oaths above that are required of all Masons, there are many other demonic oaths that are required should a person desire to go further in Masonry.

Most Masons are content to remain a third degree, Master Mason. Few venture beyond that point because each degree thereafter is expensive to obtain. But those who desire to go further have two choices. They can either pursue the Scottish Rite which advances by numerical degrees, beginning with the fourth and ending with the 32nd (the 33rd degree is honorary). Or they can seek to achieve the degree of Knights Templar by following the York Rite and its named degrees.

Both a 32nd degree Mason and a Knights Templar are eligible to become a Shriner. The Shriners are the most conspicuous part of Masonry. They wear red fez hats and ride motorcycles in parades. They are commonly referred to by other Masons as “the party animals of Freemasonry.” Tom McKenney, who became one of the top leaders of Masonry before he found the Lord, states that the initiation ceremonies for Shriners are particularly childish, rowdy, and often vulgar and degrading.16

Most people are not aware of the fact that the Shrine is the Islamic expression of Freemasonry, making it clearly anti-Christian. The full name is “Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine,” and everything about the Shrine is based on the Muslim faith and Arabic symbolism.

Other Demonic Oaths
All Shriners are required to take an oath in which they make several promises. They conclude the oath by saying that if they should ever break any of their promises, “may I incur the fearful penalty of having my eyeballs pierced to the center with a three-edged blade, my feet flayed, and… may Allah, the god of Arab Moslem and Mohammedan, the god of our fathers, support me to the entire fulfillment of the same, Amen.” This is said by the candidate while he is kneeling before a Muslim altar with his hand on the Koran!

The Scottish Rite tenth degree oath is also very Satanic in nature. Please take notice, how the oath taker to commit murder, if necessary.

there are some other oaths Masons swear to, but I will not go any further. If you are interested in finding out, there are MANY Christian web sites that will be glad nto tell you about these drastic oaths.

One Christian writer expressed it very well when he referred to Masonry’s “horrid oaths” and observed that they contain penalties that would “shame a cannibal.”

Their Unscriptural Doctrines:
Many Roads to God

Several doctrines taught by the Masons are especially repulsive to the Holy Word of God. One of these is that there are many ways to God.

Consider this quote from Carl Claudy’s book, Introduction to Freemasonry: “In his private petitions a man may petition God or Jehovah, Allah or Buddha, Mohammed or Jesus; he may call upon the God of Israel or the Great First Cause. In the Masonic Lodge he hears petition to the Great Architect of the Universe, finding his own deity under that name. A hundred paths may wind upward around a mountain; at the top they meet.”

Our precious Saviour and Lord does NOT agree with that Satatement! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

BUT . . . Masonry teaches salvation is available through ALL religions, even though the Bible teaches there is salvation in ONLY ONE NAME under heaven . . . that being the Name of Jesus. Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)

Salvation by Works?
Justified by our Works?

That is NOT what the Bible states! But, that is what the Masons teach. Masonic literature is full of references to being justified before God through good works.

In the Kentucky Masonic handbook, the lambskin apron worn by Masons is described as a reminder “of the purity of life and conduct which is essential to gaining admission to the Celestial Lodge above, where the Supreme Architect of the Universe presides.”

The Holman edition of the Masonic Bible contains a Masonic Creed that asserts that “character determines destiny.”

The former Masonic Grand Chaplain of Pennsylvania summed it up this way: “The viewpoint of Freemasonry is to make man the master of his own destiny, to show him that there also is an immortality on earth brought about by his actions; that he can, through his own efforts… inscribe his name in the ‘Book of Life.'”

THAT is NOT what God states in His Holy Word of God. John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30  I and my Father are one. (KJV) . . . Only Jesus can write your name in the Book of Life!

Rev.3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (KJV)
Rev.3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (KJV)
Rev.17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.  (KJV)

What the Masons teach is a different Gospel, and as such, it is condemned by Paul in Galatians 1:8-9. The TRUE Gospel is that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, NOT through works. Eph.2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV).

Another non-biblical doctrine the Masons also teach is that Jesus is just one of many Saviours. Christ Jesus is simply portrayed in Masonic literature as one of many who had greater knowledge and understanding. Consider this quote from the Kentucky handbook:

“All antiquity… believed in a future life… and in a Mediator or Redeemer… The belief was general that He was to be born of a virgin and suffer a painful death. The Hindus called him Krishna; the Chinese, Kioun-tse; the Persians, Sosiosch; the Chaldeans, Dhouvanai; the Egyptians, Horus; Plato, Love; the Scandinavians, Balder; the Christians, Jesus; the Masons, Hiram.”

The above mumbo-jumbo specifies that our precious Jesus is nothing more than ONE of many enlightened men. He certainly is not viewed as divine. A former Masonic leader has written that in official Masonic doctrine, “Jesus is just a man. He is one of the ‘exemplars,’ one of the great men of the past, but not divine and certainly not the only means of redemption of lost mankind.”

Dear one, this is in total opposition of what the Holy Word of God tells us. The TRUE God clearly tells that Jesus was the unique and only begotten Son of God . . . AND He was/is in fact, God in the Flesh.

Philippians 2:1-11 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV)

This is one of the most wonderful fulfillments of prophecy you can imagine. The angel said, "Call Him Jesus because He'll save His people from their sins." All of us are in the same ship today. The human family is on a sinking ship, and it is going down fast! We NEED a Saviour. "You shall call His name Jesus because He is going to save His people from their sins." HOW can He save His people from their sins? Because He IS Emmanuel, God with us. That little Baby who came to Bethlehem is God with us. NO one else, anywhere, at any time can be called Jesus.

John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV)

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV)
The apostle John introduces the Lord Jesus Christ with three tremendous statements: #1. "In the beginning was the Word," . . . Jesus has always been! Jesus has been alive and well since the beginning of time . . . whenever that was! #2. "And the Word was with God," . . . Jesus was with God the Father from day one . . . whenever that was! #3. "And the Word was God." . . . This is NOT believed by a lot of people! Including many pastors!
I have pastors email me and tell me Jesus is not God. One was from a southern state (Bible belt) and when I offered to send him our booklet "Is Jesus God?" . . . he refused to let me mail it to him. Recently I offered this same booklet to my brother, a Jehovah's Witness. When he saw the title, he answered "I already know the answer to that," and he walked away.
Is Jesus God? . . . http://www.hisservants.org/is_jesus_god_h_s.htm
Our Booklet: Is Jesus God? . . .http://www.judgmentcoming.org/j_c_is_jesus_god.htm
"The Word" is a high and most profound title of the Lord Jesus Christ. To determine the exact meaning is not easy.
The words: Jesus and Christ are found 546 times in the New Testament, but not even once in the Old Testament. The Name for Jehovah was never pronounced because it was such a Holy Word that they never used it at all. But this "ONE" . . . Who is the Word, when gathering together everything that was said of Him in the Old Testament, He is now presented as the One "In the beginning." This beginning in verse 1, goes back to the very first words in the Bible, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." That beginning can guessed at, but I do not think that anyone can date it accurately.
God is eternal! So . . . you tell me, just how long ago was that! It probably goes back billions and billions of years. We are dealing with the God of eternity. When you go back to Creation, He is already there . . . Jesus too . . . because He is the Creator! (John 1:3; 1:10; 1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:1-2; 1:10; 3:3 Rev.3:14).
The Bible says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Gen. 1:1). Does God begin there? NO! NO Way! Just keep on going back . . . billions and trillions of years. I cannot think back to billions of years. Can you? But, let's put down a starting point . . . billions of years back of Creation. JESUS was already there! He comes out of eternity to meet us. He did NOT begin. He had NO beginning! "In the beginning was the Word" . . . Jesus was already there when the beginning was! Can I explain that to you? NO! I cannot, but I believe it!

If you insist that "there has to be a beginning somewhere," OK. Begin wherever you want to. Jesus is there to meet you, He is already past tense. "In the beginning was the Word" . . . five simple words, and there is not a person anywhere on this Earth, who can put a date on it or understand it. This first tremendous verse starts us off, way out in space.

The second statement is this, "and the Word was with God." This makes it abundantly clear that Jesus is separate and different from God the Father. Jesus is not God the Father because He is WITH God the Father. Then someone will say, "if He is with God, then He is not God." My friend, the third statement sets us straight, "and the Word was God." This is a VERY clear, definite declaration that the Lord Jesus Christ IS God. There are many today that are trying to get rid of the deity of Christ. My friend, that is impossible, whether you like it or not! You cannot get rid of the deity of Christ! The first three statements in John's Gospel prove this!

John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. (KJV)
"Was in the beginning with God" . . . this really is a repetition of what was said in the first verse. But, very often in God's Word, IMPORTANT things are repeated over and over again to guard the TRUE Doctrine, and to prevent any possibility of a mistake! John had said that Jesus, the Word had existed before the Creation, and that He was "with God"; but he had NOT said in the first verse that the union with God existed in the beginning. He now expresses that idea, and assures us that that union was not one which started somewhere in time, but was one which existed in eternity past, and would continue on into future eternity. GOD IS ETERNAL! And JESUS IS GOD! And JESUS IS ETERNAL!

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (KJV)

"All things" . . . the total Universe and everything in it. This expresses everything that exists! (Rev.4:11; Heb.1:2,10; Col.1:16). "Were made" . . . it does not alter the sense whether it is said "were by him," or "were created by him." This means creating or forming something from nothing (James 3:9; Gen. 2:4; Isa.48:7).
"By Him" . . . John affirms that Creation was achieved by the Word, or the Son of God. In Genesis 1:1, it says God created the heavens and the earth. Jesus IS God! In Psalms 102:25-28, this work is ascribed to God. The Word, the Son of God, is therefore rightly called God. The work of Creation is again and again ascribed in the Scriptures to the second Person of the Trinity. Jesus, the Son of God, the Word was the agent, by which the Universe was made. There is NO higher proof of omnipotence than the work of Creation. Because of this, God often appeals to that Work to prove that He is the TRUE God, as opposed to idols (Isa. 40:18-28; Jer. 10:3-16; Ps. 24:2; 39:11; Pro. 3:19).
It is absurd to say that ANYONE except God is omnipotent or omniscient or omnipresent and infinitely wise and good. The Being that created all things must be divine; and as this Work is ascribed to Jesus Christ, and as it is many times in the Scriptures declared to be the work of God, Jesus Christ is therefore equal with the Father.
"Without him" . . . NOTHING was made without Jesus. John shuts out all doubt, and affirms that there were NO exceptions. There was NOT one single thing, no matter how small or unimportant, which was not made by Him. John is confirming what he said in the first verse. Jesus Christ was NOT merely called God, He did the Works of God, and therefore the Word implies supreme divinity. This same Jesus attests to this fact (John 5:17; 10:37). ALL things were made by Jesus (Ps.33:6; Eph.3:9).

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (KJV)

"In him was life" . . . John affirms John 1:3, that by the Word, the world was originally created. One part of that Creation consisted in breathing into man the breath of life (Gen.2:7). God is declared to be LIFE, or the living God, because He is the source of life. This attribute is here credited to Jesus Christ. Jesus not only made the worlds, but He also gave life. He was the agent by which the vegetable world came alive; by which all beasts live; and by which man became a living soul, and was endowed with immortality. This is another proof that the "Word was God." JESUS IS GOD!
But there is another way in which Jesus is life, that being the renovation of man and his restoration from a state of sin, and is often compared with the new creature (2 Cor.5:17; Gal.6:17). The Word was the source of life then, so, in a similar but higher sense, Jesus is the source of life to the eternal soul, dead in trespasses and sins (Eph.2:1). This is probably why Jesus is so often called "Life" in the writings of John. "For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself," John 5:26; "He giveth life unto the world," John 6:33; "I am the resurrection and the life," John 11:25; "the way, the truth, and the life," John 14:6. "This is the true God and eternal life," 1 John 5:20. Also called "Life" in: 1 John 1:1-2; 5:11; Acts 3:15; Col.3:4.

What John is telling us is: Jesus is the Source or the Fountain of both natural and spiritual life. There is NO doubt that Jesus has the attributes of God . . . because Jesus IS God!

something else . . .  Masons are not allowed to pray in their lodges in the Name of Jesus. BUT the Word of God says that Christians are to offer ALL prayers in Jesus’ Name! Col. 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (KJV)

A God Alien to the Bible
As stated by Coil’s Masonic Encyclopedia, all men who join the Masonry must decide between the inferior Christian God and the true God of Masonry:

“Men have to decide whether they want a God like the ancient Hebrew Jahweh, a partisan, tribal God, with whom they can talk and argue and from whom they can hide if necessary, or a boundless, eternal, universal, undenominational, and international, Divine Spirit, so vastly removed from the speck called man, that He cannot be known, named, or approached.”

This quotation makes it VERY clear that the God of Masonry, called The Great Architect of the Universe and symbolized by the all-seeing eye, is NOT the true God of the Bible. The Bible tells us that the Creator of this Universe is a triune God consisting of one God in three Persons. The Bible also states that He is a Father God who desires intimate fellowship with His creation. He is fa from a “tribal God” who is distant and unapproachable. Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (KJV)

Scriptures about our Triune God:

The TRUE Biblical God is a Triune God

#1. God is a Triune God . . . Mat. 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (KJV)
Mat.28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (KJV)
2 Cor. 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (KJV)

#2. All three Persons are God . . . Act 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. (KJV)
Heb.1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (KJV)
1 Pet.1:2  Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (KJV)

#3. All three Persons are eternal . . . Isa. 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (KJV)
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (KJV)
Heb. 9:14-15 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (KJV)

#4. All three exist at the same time . . . Mark 1:10-11 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (KJV)

#5. All three are in us . . . John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (KJV)
Rom. 8:10-11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (KJV)
Gal. 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (KJV)
Eph.4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (KJV)

Although Masons are taught that the real Name of God is not known because it was lost, those who seek the higher levels of Masonry are finally told that the secret name of the Masonic deity is Jabulon. This is an abbreviation for Jehovah, Baal (the ancient Canaanite god), and Osiris (an Egyptian mystery god). Is there any doubt in your mind that Masonry is submerged in paganism?
