The ANTICHRIST

Who is the Antichrist? This is a question that many websites try to answer, and it is also a question that has bewildered Christians for almost two thousand years. There have been many people who really thought that they have had the answer . . . but throughout history, it was not long that the foolishness of those people was exposed.

Can I tell you WHO the Antichrist is? NO! I cannot. The only thing I can do is state what the Bible says about him, so that when he does finally show up in the world, you will be better able to identify him.

First of all, it is important to note that the Bible does not give us the name of the Antichirst, but it gives us quite a bit of information about him. The term “antichrist” is only used a few times, and only by the apostle John.
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (KJV)
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (KJV)
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (KJV)
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (KJV)

This soon to come extremely wicked world ruler will rise up just after the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18), when the Tribulation Period begins. WHY do I say soon to come ruler? Because I believe that the Rapture is imminent. It is possible that it could happen at any time. It seems to me that all the things Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:4-12 are fulfilled.
