Selfist Extremists will Stop at Nothing

The dictionary states:
Selfism refers to any philosophy, theory, doctrine, or tendency that upholds openly selfish principles as being desirable. The term ‘Selfism’ is usually used contemptuously. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selfism
"Selfism" is the Cult of Self-Worship. The selfism movement attempts to uphold God-centered unselfishness and self-sacrifice and claims that all of modern-day liberalism and leftism are essentially selfish at their core.

Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan and author of The Satanic Bible, acknowledges Ayn Rand and Objectivism as a source of inspiration for LaVeyan Satanism. This form of Satanism holds self above all else.
Selfishness in the Objectivist philosophy means:

• Follow reason, not whims or faith.
• Work hard to achieve a life of purpose and productiveness.
• Earn genuine self-esteem.
• Pursue your own happiness as your highest moral aim.
• Prosper by treating others as individuals, trading value for value.

 
“Selfism” is a religion that can be defined as “a precise system of faith and worship” or “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power”. Millennials born in the 1980s and 1990s, have become commonly referred to as “Generation Me” because of they are obsessed with their own personal identity. 
“Selfism” did not reach the status of a full-fledged “religion” until usual social norms recently started to demand required acceptance of each person’s power to express every aspect of his/her being: Identity; Morality; Gender; What they do with their own bodies; a god, if any.
“Selfism” . . . what IF it overcomes the Holy Spirit in the battle for the hearts of America’s young ones? 
As Christians, we know the answer to this . . . simply read the Book of Revelations.  A horror movie is not as scary when you have already seen it and know the villain gets what he rightly deserves! Consider all the unbelievers in our country, fighting for a prize they THINK they can win . . . self-survival . . . there is NO way dear one! Jesus is the ONLY Way for a person’s self-survival!  
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV)

It seems selfist extremests think that a life without the Spirit, means a guilt-free existence, where they hold a license to live however they decide to live.  Selfism accepts and follows NO rules, and they defend the right to define their own moral code . . . which removes the need for a non-believer’s most detested perfection . . . forgiveness.
The Selfism doctrine had to overcome great opposition in a nation where the majority profess to be Christians.  For selfists to preserve “self” required a self-motivated redefinition or removal of terms . . . formerly associated with Christians and recognized by God.

Consider the following:
#1. “Science” . . . Faith in human reason had to make considerable inroads against faith in God.  Opposing science against Christianity meant to no longer see it as discovering what God created, but proving He did not create anything.  Dear one, science CANNOT outsmart God . . . for it always has to start by using HIS building blocks. Science is TOTALLY unable to make something from nothing (Gen.1:1-2). Scientists will NEVER clone [duplicate] a soul (Gen.1:26). 1 Cor. 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. (KJV)

#2. “Morality” . . . Right and wrong had to be removed from the Christion doctrine, and in fact flipped. The doctrines like those of other religions: love, compassion and understanding . . .  Selfism justifies the condemning of any points of view that question another’s personal choices, NO matter that the Bible calls them “sin”.  The only rule for them is the “sin” of imposing rules on others . . . meaning any attempts to draw ethical, religious or moral lines.  All who invade someone’s self-conceived notions or self-image are labeled as bigots and vilified in the media.
Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (KJV)
Selfism is an attempt to destroy God's standards of right and wrong by substituting man's values which totally oppose the LORD’S moral standards. This confusion comes upon a nation when they abandon God after He has blessed them in the past for their response to Him. America is quickly declining in the same direction.
When a nation’s [or personal] values get so twisted and warped that godly conduct is condemned as evil, and on the other hand . . . evil is called good . . . this indicates the coming judgment of the Lord.  This is what the nation of Israel was doing in their day, and we see this sin so rampant and widespread in our nation today. The liberal media condemns Christians for hate crimes when they are simply calling a sinful conduct such as homosexuality to be wrong in God’s sight (as the Scripture specifically and clearly states Gen.19:4-5; Lev.18:22; 20:13; Rom.1:26; 1 Cor.6:9-11; Jude 1:7), and the same media then promotes a homosexual’s conduct as being good. This sort of perversion in our nation is another omen of the LORD’S imminent judgment upon America. God would have to apologize to Judea for sending her to the Babylonian captivity if He does not judge our nation.

#3. “Rights” . . . A Selfism theocracy required that greater respect be paid to the rights of Selfists than those of Christians.  For example, not being subjected to prayer in public school removed the rights of Christians to pray publicly in school.  Not being “judged” for lifestyle choices removed the rights of Christians to speak openly about certain Biblical values.

#4. “Truth” . . . Enforcing secularism (separating church from state) means anyone claiming to have conclusive answers to life’s difficult questions had to be seen as arrogant or ignorant.  When social acceptance depends on required narrow-mindedness, understanding that “truth” is personal, selfism is at the top. Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (KJV)

#5. “Tolerance” . . . They reset the “tolerance” threshold so low that it would stifle any realistic argument about beliefs or behaviors, and would ensure the doctrines of all Selfists remained undamaged.  A rule that low would absolutely label any Christian attempting to evangelize as intolerant. Rev. 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: (KJV)

#6. “Love” . . . Don’t fall for the tricks of the devil! Selfism FALSELY claims to be driven by love and consistently applies the word “hate” to anyone proclaiming “truth” and “morality”, in particular Christians. Agape love is unconditional love for God and others, and it does NOT exist apart from Christ Jesus!  The Selfists love and defend SELF at all costs.  They profess either no god OR that all roads lead to a god . . . but SELF is their god.  Respecting each other’s false god of self is not love, it is idolatry . . . it is worship of the creation NOT the Creator.  TRUE love comes from the ONE TRUE GOD. 1 John 4:18-19 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. (KJV)

#7. “Liberty” . . . Selfism’s leaders at the head of government and media appeal to the masses on the basis of compassion and understanding.  But, their underlying program is CONTROL . . .  less freedom, not more.  Government controls actions and media controls thoughts.  Do you as a Christian feel free to speak what is on your mind?  Or do you watch every word that you say? Do you fear offending someone? Do you fear getting in trouble with the Law? Political correctness has reached new heights in America because persecution has begun for those nosing around at anyone else’s identity.  Communism always begins that same way . . . taking a position with the oppressed, promising freedom . . . when the final outcome is LESS LIBERTY than was had in the first place. Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. (KJV)
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego told Nebuchadnezzar, there was no need for an answer in this case, for it is in useless for us to deliberate and debate the matter, for the king has decided to have his will on us, and we are determined NOT to obey in this wicked thing . . . for to bow to the image of gold would be utter disobedience to our God in Heaven.

Selfists Have Infiltrated America’s Churches
Christians should demonstrate the power of God’s love, truth and tolerance by following Jesus’ example of leading with actions of compassion and then telling people WHO Jesus is.  Fighting the Culture War with verbal bombs does NOT work!
Christians are losing battles no matter where they turn . . . in legal courts and in the court of public opinion.

There have been many Selfist victories, many churches have conformed and reshaped their own doctrines to follow Selfism. There are some words that are no longer heard in Church or Christian music. victory, healer, comforter, deliverer, power, joy. They have basically stopped using Biblical challenging terms such as: discipleship, sanctification, obedience, repentance, and sin. Many of today’s preachers in the pulpits have NOT been born again and they do NOT preach the Law in their sermons! The LAW is the school master, we must have it to know what God expects of us!

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (KJV)
The Mosaic Law CANNOT save us. “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Rom.4:5). God REFUSES to accept ANY works of man for salvation. You either do it God’s Way (Christ) OR you are condemned to an eternal Hell (John 3:17-18,36; 8:24; Rev.20:15). God says our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (Isa. 64:6).

The Law cannot save; it can only condemn. It was NOT given to SAVE sinners but to SHOW them they are sinners. And preachers are NOT telling people this FACT. The Law does NOT remove sin; it REVEALS sin. The Law shows that man is NOT how Hollywood or the world portrays him. But people do NOT want to know they are sinners, so preachers do NOT preach it in their sermons.

I really don’t understand how people can think there is NO God or that God will NOT punish sin. This absolutely amazes me! I wonder, do these people really think they will go to Heaven? Every time some sinful celebrity dies, the media says: He/she is in Heaven now. THAT is NOT what the Bible says! The Word of God shows us who we are and what we are . . . dirty sinners that fall short of the glory of God. That is what the Law says! But, thank God, the precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ can cleanse us. We are justified by faith in Jesus (Rom.3:24; 5:1).

Today’s churches are now using more Selfist Terms: church chores, church, a place and not people. Some churches will stop at nothing to preserve “self” in their institution.  The focus of many pastors has shifted from equipping members to BE the church  . . . to attracting and retaining the congregation. For countless churches, they have become the “self” or “flesh”, and they overpower and overshadow “spirit”. The Holy Spirit who lives inside TRUE individual Christian members (John 14:16), is NOT the building. 
In other words, today’s churches have increasingly:
#1. Created their own Selfist “identity”
#2. Defined their own versions of “truth”,
#3. Relented on biblical “morality” and adopted Selfist standards,
#4. Focused on church growth through appealing to Selfist tendencies, even at the expense of other churches, 5. Encouraged prayers for Selfist outcomes instead of God’s will as Jesus modeled,
#6. Become much more concerned with defending their churches’ rights against “outside” attacks than sending out well-trained armies of disciples to bring people to Christ.
