Halloween . . . Helloween

Halloween is, without doubt, a pagan holy day that should be very seriously considered by all those who profess to be Christians.

Many people think Halloween is a harmless holiday that ushers in the fall and provides children with a great reason for either collecting candy or playing a trick on someone.

BUT . . . Halloween is a serious event in the lives of those who practice witchcraft. When asked about Halloween started, many in the church would say something about All Saints' Day, but they could not explain the traditions associated with the October 31st date.

Halloween is known as "The Festival of the Dead" among the adherents of witchcraft. October 31st had a great deal of significance among the ancient Celts and their priests, the Druids. This festival marked the change from life to death . . . a changing of the guard from the warmth of the sun in the spring and summer to the cold of the moon in the fall and winter.

The Druids celebrated several holy days, but the "Feast of Samhain" was of particular importance. This was the observance of Samana, the Lord of Death, a dark Aryan god who was known as the Grim Reaper.

Samhain is a solemn rite for the dead; the reaffirmation of life at the end of the ceremony is a most important aspect of this ritual.

The reaffirmation of life can be an actual act or it can be symbolic. To affirm life, some covens ritually eat an apple; in others, sexual intercourse ends the ceremony.

Hallomas or Halloween, this most unholy night, became a time for gaining knowledge through divination. In addition to lying on a grave seeking a message from beyond, men employed Ouija boards, crystal ball gazing and a host of other practices to divine information. For those engaging in witchcraft, Halloween is the time for communing with the dead. Halloween has become the great day of abomination.

The "Lord of the Dead" is known by a number of names. Witches acknowledge that their "Horned God" is the "Lord of the Dead." The true identity of this "Lord of Death" is the devil himself.

The horned god Pan, with cloven hoofs, was often represented by a goat. The personification of Pan was the head of a goat or a bull.

Matthew 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (KJV)

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:(KJV) . . . Do you see where the symbolism of the goat comes from??

Christians should realize that Halloween is NOT the innocent holiday that many, even Christians, believe it to be. We, as Christians, must properly discern the spirit of Halloween and respond in a way that would honor our God . . . the one and only TRUE God of the Bible.

Satan's goal is to blind our minds, that we cannot see what he is doing. He is and always has been a sly, cunning deceiver! He desires, no, he craves, our worship.

Matthew 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. (KJV)

2 Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (KJV) . . . He certainly does blind the eyes of many people, even some who PROFESS to be born-again Christians!

Rev. 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (KJV) . . . The devil and all his evil angels (YES! there are "evil angels"), and ALL those who turn their backs on the True God of the Bible shall one day be cast into the "lake of fire". Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) . . . Please do NOT take a chance on the devil, witchcraft and the occult! If you do, you are endangering your eternal soul!

1 Cor. 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (KJV)

Ephes. 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (KJV)

Many communities have their "haunted house"on Halloween. Kids talk about what they've just seen . . . a bloody body in the bathtub, a maniac chasing them with an ax, a monster swinging a chain saw, a body hanging by the neck in the closet, the refrigerator filled with bloody body parts. Christian parents . . . is this really what you want for your kids??? No wonder there is so much violence and murder in the country!!!

Let's go on! What about Halloween parties??? A group playing with the OUIJA board, asking it questions, wanting it to tell them about their futures. Another group is watching a horror movie on a CD. Still another group meet at a graveyard, they lay on a grave, making an attempt to contact the dead, then there are those who go out into the dark night to cause destruction and havoc. And, last but not least, but worse . . . others are being initiated into witchcraft to become "real" witches. This is what goes on in many communities on Halloween night!!!

It's Halloween! Is it really harmless fun? My friend, the devil candy coats Halloween! The so-called harmless holiday of Halloween is a diabolical evil, a horrible evil that is directly connected to the occult, witchcraft and satanism. Christian parents . . . you need to be warned of this evil! BEWARE!!!!

Have you noticed that costumes and masks are getting more bloody, gory, and depraved each year? Unfortunately, the gruesome and grotesque and the occult are increasingly glorified in American society, not only on Halloween, but throughout the year in horror movies and in TV programs.

So, what is my purpose of this article? To make caring parents aware of the dark side of Halloween and reveal the demonic principles and practices that are beguiling our children. I have researched this topic in detail and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Halloween is connected to witchcraft, the occult and Satan! Halloween is bewitching America! It is and has been used by occultists to interject their demonic doctrines into our culture. BEWARE!!!

Many people doubt the dangers of Halloween. Underneath Satan's thin candy coating there is a core of evil and a focus on death and the occult. People dress their children as witches and devils and send them out to trick or treat. Halloween is connected with satanic fortune-telling, witchcraft or the occult. Witches have never given up Halloween! Occultists still lay claim to the day and worship their pagan gods and goddesses on that day with demonic rituals.

When you hear the word "Witchcraft", what comes to mind? Spells and Magic have and will always be associated with Witchcraft and the Occult.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (KJV) IF you sow witchcraft; you shall reap the lake of fire! God tells us NOT to use divination, magic, sorcery or any other means of spell casting or fortune telling. There are many scriptures in the Bible that confirm this. God says this not to deny us of things, he put these laws and warnings there for us so that we are not enslaved by fear, superstition, and are not deceived by Satan and his demons.

Deut. 18:10-13 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. [12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. [13] Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. (KJV)

Listen to the Lord!!! NOT to the world!!! Listening to or compromising with the world will only lead to eternal disaster!!!
