God's Wrath . . . What Is It? And Why?
The Wrath of God

INTRODUCTION

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV)  Just what does God consider “ungodliness and unrighteousness”? Here are a few things to think about: ALL sex outside marriage, ALL untruths, being unthankful, gossip, hardheartedness, hatred, homosexuality, immorality, lies, malice, pride, self-centeredness, separation from God to worldly things, stubbornness, wickedness, witchcraft, etc. . . . ALL these are ungodliness and unrighteousness, and ALL these will bring on the wrath of God! BEWARE!!!

To know what salvation is, we must realize just how bad sin really is. God’s wrath is not His feelings, not His punishment of sin; it is His holy anger toward all sin.
Ungodliness is all that goes against God. Unrighteousness is all that goes against mankind. God will judge ALL ungodliness and unrighteousness.

Romans 2:5-6 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (KJV) IF you keep on with sinful doings, you are “treasuring up wrath. If you think God won’t judge you, you are wrong! You CANNOT escape God’s “righteous judgment.”
The FIRST standard of judgment is: God will judge according to reality; the true and actual state of that person. Anyone who is unthankful, rebellious, ungodly and unrighteous; no matter what nation, age, or description, will be judged by God according to their true character. Because in every willful sin, there is hate and contempt for the purity and goodness of God.
The SECOND standard of judgment is that every unbeliever shall be judged according to what they have done. Every deed shall be revealed in God’s holy light, be it good or bad. No one without Christ will escape that final encounter with the Great Judge. Judgment according to works: Job 34:11; Ps.28:4; 62:12; Pro.24:12,29; Jer.32:19; Lam.3:64: Mat.16:27; 2 Cor.11:15; 1 Pet.1:17.

Is God's wrath, like ours, anger out of control? Is God right and just to harbor wrath, rage, fury? How can a loving God also be a God of wrath? These are just a few questions people ask. Most people do NOT understand God's wrath.

God's wrath is absolutely NOT anger out of control. Many people, including some professing 'Christians', have the idea that anger is basically wrong and sinful, and so much anger (wrath) is really wrong. That is not taught in the Bible. The Bible teaches otherwise. Ephes. 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. (KJV) . . . Anger is not always irrational.

Jesus was angry because of hard hearts. Mark 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. (KJV)

And Jesus was angry because of the wrong done in His Father's House. John 2:13-16 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. (KJV)  . . . Just as Jesus was NOT wrong to be angry in either of these occasions, so too, there are times when we, as imitators of Him, have the right to be angry IF there is a just cause. It is when we are angry without a cause that we are in trouble. Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (KJV) . . . As you can see, we are permitted to be angry IF we have a just cause. And, my friend, that also means that God has the perfect right to be angry because He certainly does have a just cause to be angry at sin. Sin evokes (brings on) His wrath!

When people get angry with God because of His wrath, it is a dead end street! If they are going to get angry with someone, it should be the devil . . . OR self . . . for being taken in by him! John 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (KJV) . . . Every form of darkness (SIN) whether it be external or internal, whether it be thought, word or deed, shall be met with the righteous wrath of God, and if we do not  stop, shall lead to condemnation (judgment to Hell).

There are many terrible sins found Galatians 5:13-21, and they which do such things shall NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. God has the absolute right to be angry with people for their sins. ALL sins, no matter what or when or how, are hated by God: (Deut.25:16; 2 Sam.11:27; Ps.5:4; 11:5; 36:2; 53:5; 78:59; Pro.6:16; 15:9,26; Isa. 1:14; 43:24; 61:8; Eze.13:20; Hab.1:13; Zec.8:17; 11:8; Luke 16:15; Rev.2:6,15; 18:4). BEWARE! God’s wrath can and does fall on ALL those who refuse to believe Him.

God’s Wrath
Let’s Talk About It . . . Chapter 1

It is a subject rarely discussed and more rare yet, to hear a sermon on it. How can we explain it? How does it work? Why is it such a neglected part of God's character? WHY is it being revealed against all unrighteousness of men? Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV)

There is a huge difference in human anger and divine wrath. People picture God's wrath as that of man's wrath. They say: "God gets angry just like we do." WRONG! People get angry because their egos or pride has been hurt, and because they did not get their own way. Human anger is most often revealed in ways that hurt others. God's anger does no such thing! God's anger is not because His ego failed to gratify Him. God's wrath is His righteous anger which is directed at evil people who refuse to love and obey Him. He is angered by the stupid decisions of people, who in their disobedience, condemn themselves to Hell. It seems to me that God's wrath is shown NOT to hurt sinful man, but instead, bring him to his senses so that he will return to the Living God and be saved.

God's wrath does NOT go against the preaching of the Gospel in any way. We can have complete confidence in the Gospel, because that Gospel is God's power to save everyone who believes! The Gospel reveals the righteousness of God! BUT, in Rom.1:18, Paul brings up the wrath of God. So, why does he do this right after the beautiful and comforting words of salvation? Because God's wrath is not incompatible with the Gospel. Most people want to separate God's amazing grace from certain judgment that is to come. The cross of Christ CANNOT be separated from Hell. God's love CANNOT be separated from God's wrath. There is not one God of love, and another of wrath. There is ONE God and He has BOTH characteristics: love and wrath!

But, you say, isn't the Gospel the Good News of eternal salvation? Yes! Absolutely! BUT, it is only Good News for those who BELIEVE God (1 John 5:10-13) and ACCEPT it (John 3:15-16; 5:24). Anyone who is foolish enough to reject the Gospel, and disregard its saving power are doomed to experience and know God's wrath and judgment directed toward all sin.
Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (KJV)

The Bible clearly reveals sins, evil attitudes and wicked behaviors. It is sad indeed that in today's 'modern' churches, it is extremely rare to ever hear a "fire and brimstone" sermon. This kind of preaching is considered old-fashioned. I ask only two questions here: Has God changed over the years? If you are a TRUE Christian, you know that He does NOT change ever! SO, WHY has the preaching and teaching changed? Old timey preachers were known for sermons that held their flock over the very fires of Hell, while the vast majority of today's preachers distance themselves completely from any/all sermons of Hell, sin and repentance, judgment, eternal condemnation, etc.

Jesus never hesitated to discuss Hell in very clear and precise details. Why then should His followers hesitate even for a moment to tell the Truth as Jesus did? Yes, talking about Hell is a scary and hated thing, but, it IS necessary! God's wrath should NOT be changed to man's thinking, man's rules (Mat.15:9) or eliminated altogether when bringing the Gospel to people, for in the TRUE Gospel it is the only thing that can save the souls of mankind. People NEED to know that one day ALL people shall be resurrected. Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV) . . . ALL people will account for their deeds someday, and many (Mat.7:13-14) will be lost. Everyone needs to carefully contemplate the ONLY two possible choices of eternity: Heaven and Hell. Everyone must make the right choice, or they shall be condemned to Hell (John 3:15-18,36; 8:24).

Preachers, teachers, Bible classes and private study and meditation should be full of thoughts of the joy and bliss of Heaven, but, God's righteous wrath MUST be considered as well! WHY? Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (KJV) . . . God's wrath will one day condemn unbelieving sinners to the Lake of Fire (Rev.20:15).

The wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness; is revealed, means NOW! HOW is God's wrath being revealed even now? In Rom.1:24, 26, 28, we are told that God gave them up . . . to the lusts of their hearts (v. 24), (sinful people who refused to obey and acknowledge Him as God) degrading passions (v. 26), and gave the over to a depraved mind (v.28). To give them up or give them over referring to what is done with a convicted criminal. They are given over to be punished. So, it seems that sinners are presently being punished right now by God, but please do NOT think that punishment in this life will be the end of an unbeliever's punishment (Rev.20:15). Their punishment will continue for eternity unless the person repents and believes God (1 John 5:10-12).

Just WHAT is the crime that so angers Almighty God? People are guilty of rejecting the ever-present knowledge of God that is everywhere (Rom.1:21) and the punishment God gives them is simply allowing them to do as they wish. "How can that be punishment?" You ask. What about sexual diseases associated with homosexuality, adultery and fornication? I believe that AIDS is a punishment from God. What about the results of adultery and fornication? "No results" you say! I beg to differ with you. These sins ALWAYS hurt someone! ALWAYS!!! It tears up marriages, it separates children from their parents causing devastation in their lives. What about drug addicts or alcoholics? I am so familiar with this. I get thousands of letters each year, and the majority are from addicts. I see what it does to families. It truly saddens me. YES! There are results from sin, and NONE of them are good.

God will NOT force anyone to turn to Him or obey Him. He has given us all a free will to do as we please. He allows us to make our own choices.  Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (KJV) . . . Nature cries out that it is God who created all things, and IF we want to, we can clearly SEE God and His eternal power in ALL nature around us. There is absolutely NO excuse for anyone not to believe God and accept His Love and salvation that He offers. But, when a person's heart becomes as hard as stone, and he/she decides they will do their own thing, their own way, God simply allows them to do so, at their own destruction. God gives them multiple opportunities, and the Holy Spirit tries time and time again to reveal the Truth to them, but they remain obstinate and unmovable.

Paul gives a long list of sins: Romans 1:29-32 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV) . . . How does this list end? People KNOW the judgment of God, and KNOW that when they do such things that they are worthy of (eternal) death in Hell, not only do they do them, but have pleasure in doing them. Each person decides on their own, that he/she does NOT want to know about God OR serve Him, so God will allow these stubborn and foolish people to do as they please, and they push God far, far away from their thoughts and live exactly as they want to. The end result is that they are completely trapped in their own evil deeds.

If God would strike everyone dead who did the terrible sins, would that really bring anyone to repentance? I think a good example of what I am trying to say is, what about the Prodigal Son living in the pig pen knowing that only when he learned the misery of sin could he truly come home. In this same way, God "gives people over" to the horrors of sin in hope that they will see their sad condition and repent. We must realize that God's giving people up to such a life is an expression of His wrath, but also His ever present and continual compassion, concern and love for our souls.

Only when we have faith in God, can we see that God's wrath and judgment are used for a good purpose, because God is GOOD and He wants only the best for us. If you are experiencing God's wrath, it is YOUR doing, not God's. Turn away from what has brought down that wrath on you. Only when you trust God's merciful love, can you ever see that He is trying to bring you to repentance by showing you the utter vanity of sin.

God’s Wrath
Man’s Alternatives to Hell . . . Chapter 2

God's wrath is something people do NOT want to discuss. It should be enough to "Scare the Hell out of us," as an old preacher friend said, but, it does NOT, and today's modern churches are much to blame for this because of their omission of it. God's wrath is part of His Holy character and we must understand this, and live accordingly because of it. This verse should remain in our memory! Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV) . . . God does NOT try to hide the Truth from us. WHY can't people realize this?
Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (KJV) . . . ALL the wicked shall be cast into the Lake of Fire (Rev.20:15). The Bible says so!
It is because of verses like these that man has dreamed up alternatives for Hell. NONE of which are backed up Biblically!

"Alternative" Doctrines of Hell

Both Christians and non-Christians, teach alternative doctrines of Hell: annihilationism, universalism and purgatory. Alternative doctrines of Hell are WRONG in God's Eyes, just as alternative 'Lifestyles' are wrong in God's Eyes.

??Eternal torment or annihilation??

Annihilation is defined as "total destruction" or "complete obliteration" of an object; having its root in the Latin nihil (nothing). A literal translation is "to make into nothing." The damnable heresy of annihilation teaches that man has no conscious existence after he dies. False teachers of annihilation include many large, well known cults. Annihilationists say that if you burn paper, it is eternally destroyed and that is how we should view Hell. But, what does the Bible say?

The Truth is: the wicked will NOT be annihilated. It will be the present Heaven and Earth that will be annihilated, NOT mankind! (Rev. 21& 22; Isa.65:17; 66:22-24; 2 Pet. 3:6-7,10-13).

Annihilationists totally reject eternal conscious torment, which was widely believed in the ancient world, and is clearly taught by the Bible. Jesus’ RIGHT teaching on ETERNAL conscious torment is absolutely TRUE. Believe it my friend! His language connected with Gehenna, such as "fire is not quenched" and "their worm dieth not," demonstrates beyond all doubt to any reasonable person that He deliberately used the word Gehenna (Mat.5:22.29; 10:28; 18:19: 23:15,33; Mark 9:42, Luke 12:5) to impress upon His hearers that eternal punishment awaits the wicked after the resurrection. No other conclusion is possible. Mark 9:43-44 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (KJV) . . . To quote David Ring: "If you don't believe in Hell now, a second after you die you will believe it." Probably not quoted word for word. Some verses speaking of the fires of Hell in the Old Testament: Ps.9:17; 140:8-10; Pro.15:24; Isa.5:14; 14:9-15; 33:10-14.

#1 Hell is the place of judgement. Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?  (KJV)
#2 Hell is placed at the end of the world after the resurrection. Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (KJV)
#3 Hell is the place of conscious torment. Mark 9:47-48 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (KJV)
Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. (KJV) Blessings in Heaven are the same duration as the punishment in Hell. Heaven and Hell are the exact duration . . . eternity! Eternal is forever. Eternity is forever. The annihilation doctrine is FALSE! It is of the devil!

What Hell Is NOT!

Purgatory is an utterly false view of Hell. It is supposedly a purifying fire, but the Truth is, it is a fatal fable! This false doctrine teaches that a purifying fire will purge away sins, but people are deluded victims of a damnable heresy (2 Pet.2:1). Purgatory is the FALSE hope of eternal comfort somewhere down the road.

Purgatory is a lying second chance, a chance after death, and this is why it is SO dangerous! There is absolutely NO hope of salvation AFTER death! Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV)
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.  (KJV) . . . There is absolutely NO second chance after death!!! Biblical Support for Purgatory: There is absolutely NONE, anywhere in the Bible! Neither the word purgatory or the idea of sin-purifying fire is found anywhere in Scripture. BEWARE!!!

Another Damnable Heresy!

Universalism teaches that all people will be saved. Some say that it is through the atonement of Jesus that ALL will ultimately be reconciled to God.

Others say that ALL will go to Heaven one day, whether or not they have trusted in Jesus to save them OR even if they rejected Jesus as Saviour during their lifetime. This does NOT make any sense to me! This is NOT what the BIBLE teaches! False preachers teach this damnable heresy that universal redemption will be realized in the future where God will bring all people to repentance. This is utter nonsense! Universalists believe this repentance can happen while a person lives OR after he has died and lived again in the millennium (as some "Christian universalists" claim). Some universalists even teach that Satan and all demons will one day be reconciled to God. This is an absolute falsehood to anyone who knows the Bible!
Rev. 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (KJV) . . . Antichrist and the False Prophet are cast alive into HELL! Hell is eternal, for ever!!! Rev.20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV) . . . Satan shall be tormented day and night for ever in Hell!!! Neither Satan nor even one of his demons will ever be reconciled to God!

Uuniversalistic beliefs are in serious error. People SHALL suffer eternal damnation. Rev.14:11-12 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.[12] Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (KJV) . . . Christians . . . keep your faith in Jesus! Only He can get you to Heaven! Satan and the demonic forces have NO redeemer.

Some universalists claim to be Christian, BUT, they deny the doctrine of the Trinity and the incarnation of Jesus Christ as God the Son. They also deny the Person and deity of the Holy Spirit. Those who deny any of these necessary doctrines CANNOT be classified as Christians. If a person denies the deity of Christ, they deny one of the basic, essential doctrines of salvation. Any ‘church’ who denies the deity of Christ is a cult. When any essential doctrine is denied, many other Biblical doctrines are also denied and eternal salvation is null and void because the object of their faith is false.

Universalism teaches eternal means without end when it comes to salvation, but NOT when it comes to damnation, even though the same word is used for both and in the same context in the Bible. Mat. 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)

"Christian Universalism" teaches all mankind will be saved through Jesus whether or not faith is professed in Him in this life. It claims that God's qualities of love, sovereignty, justice, etc., require that all people be saved and that eternal punishment is a false doctrine. Salvation, they say is NOT from Hell, but from sin. The Bible teaches the opposite of universalism!
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

DIALOGUE FROM HELL

In Hades am I, awaiting judgment,
For rejecting Christ, here I was sent.
Suffering memories, as I look back,
Salvation thru’ Jesus; this I did lack.

Memories, cause great anguish to my mind,
Peace in this place, I will never find.
My unquenchable thirst, is agony,
The darkness so deep, is sheer misery.

Separated from, the goodness of God,
I wish on that broad road, I’d never trod.
But I had great pride, and kept on in sin,
Ne’er humbling myself, nor to Christ gave in.

To my fam’ly, PLEASE, of Jesus do tell,
That they might not come, to the horrors of Hell.
Tell them just Jesus, can give Heaven’s ‘key’,
Just He can spare them, from Hell’s agony.

If I could go back, I’d do diff’rently,
I’d grasp Jesus’ love, and have victory.
I would NEVER again, Jesus reject,
Too late I see, that just Jesus can protect.

God’s Wrath
The Truth About Hell . . . Chapter 3

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV) . . . The wicked shall go away into everlasting punishment (HELL): but the righteous into life (HEAVEN).
2Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) . . . The wicked will pay the penalty of sin, eternal destruction, FAR away from the Presence of the Lord.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) . . . Hell DOES exist!
Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (KJV) . . . An eternal Hell is reserved for the wicked.
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (KJV) . . . NO rest day or night, forever!
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (KJV) . . . Man can kill the body, but cannot touch the soul! Our present bodies will NOT go into eternity, only our spirit and soul. This verse refutes annihilation. It is proof of what God can and shall do to man. The Gospel of Luke tells us the same thing!
Luk 12:4-5 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. (KJV)
. . . . According to annihilationists, once a person is dead, he ceases to exist.  WRONG!!!

The above Passages prove that annihilationists are wrong and that there IS a conscious part of man that survives death. Luke 16:22-24 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Universalism is proven false by the following:
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth  to  destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) . . . The Bible teaches MOST people will end up in HELL, not the other way around!
Proverbs 2:18-19 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. [19] None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. (KJV)  . . . Hell is forever.
Proverbs 7:27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. (KJV)  . . . Sexual lust is SIN!  Once in Hell, there are NO exit doors!
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. . . . Death is eternal death in Hell. Everyone goes to Heaven is FALSE!!!
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) . . . I bring this most important verse again. It proves annihilation is false AND it also proves universalism is false! HELL is a place that does exist! God created it long ago for the devil and ALL who go along with him.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV) . . . The Bible teaches TRUTH! Please believe it! Heaven does exist, yes! BUT, so does the Lake of Fire, HELL! All people will go to ONE of these places! BEWARE!!! Believe God!
Philip. 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. (KJV) . . . Sinners who reject Jesus shall be condemned to eternal destruction in Hell.
2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) . . . This to me is what Hell is, eternal separation from God and everything that is good. I simply cannot imagine the torture of being separated from His awesome Presence. You do NOT want that!
1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (KJV) . . . Judgment looms for ALL people! ALL will stand alone before Judge Jesus one day and hear His verdict. What will He say to you?
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) . . .  I close with this very sobering verse. All unbelievers shall stand before the Great White Throne. Their destination is Hell. I cannot impress upon you strongly enough to consider this. There IS a Hell! It does exist! You do NOT want to go there! If you are reading this, and are under the wrath of God, repent, turn away from your sin. It is not too late. God loves you and does NOT want you to perish (2 Pet.3:9).

God’s Wrath
Promises of Wrath Fulfilled . . . Chapter 4

Exodus 9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. (KJV) . . . God promised Pharaoh what He would do, and He DID it!

Leviticus 26:23-25 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; 24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. 25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. (KJV) . . . God fulfilled His threats at different times. He sent fiery serpents (Num.21:6); Lions (2 Kings 17:25); bears (2 Kings 2:24). He threatened them with total desolation, so that their land should be over-run with wild beasts (Eze.5:17). There would be wicked rulers and tyrants that kill and spoil (Pro.28;15; Dan.7:3-6); and false prophets that would devour souls (Mat.7:15; Rev.13:1). And of Israel's prophets it is said: O Israel, thy prophets are like foxes in the deserts (Eze.13:4; Jer.8:17; 15:3). God CANNOT lie!

Deut. 28:20-21 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. 21 The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. (KJV) . . . Vexation seems to concern the mind, and/or torment that comes from the disappointment of hopes, and the predictions of approaching miseries. Rebuke from God, is not only in words, but also His actions, by sharp and aggravating afflictions, which are often times called rebukes (2 Kings 19:3; Ps. 18:15; 39:11; 80:16; Isa. 51:20; 66:15; Eze. 5:15; 25:17). Blasting and mildew are two plagues of corn (1 Kings 8:37; 2 Chron. 6:28; Amos 4:9; Hag. 2:17).

2 Chron.7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;  (KJV) . . . God can and does shut up the Heavens so there will be no rain, then and now (Deut.8:15; 11:17; 2 Sam.1:21; 2 Chron.6:26; Isa.5:6; Jer.14:4; Hos.13:5; Hag.1:11; 1 Kings 8:35; 17:1-7; Zec.14:18). And God does command the locusts and all His other critters by His power to cause them to do whatsoever He tells them (Am.9:3). There are many foolish people who do not believe this, foolish, bullheaded, dense, hard-hearted; if they would just open the Bible and read, they would see the Truth!

Jer.14:12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. (KJV) . . . God never refuses to hear sincere prayer, but because the prayers of those people were hypocritical: their hearts were still idolatrous, He refused to hear (Jer. 7:21-23; Pro. 1:28 Isa. 1:15 Isa. 58:3). Sword, famine and pestilence are the three worst judgments, and all at once would be devastating, for any one of which would be enough for their ruin.

Jer.29:17-19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. 18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: 19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD. (KJV)  . . . Israel would not listen to the prophets sent by God. When God makes a Promise, be it a blessing OR a curse (Deut.11:26-32) . . . it shall be fulfilled! The complete captivity of Judah came eleven years later (2 Kings 25:1-7).

Jer.38:2 Thus saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live. (KJV) . . .Whoever stayed in the city would die in war, starvation or disease. But those who surrendered to the Babylonians would not be killed.

Jer.42:17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them. (KJV) . . . "All the men" except the "small number" mentioned in Jer.44:14,28, namely, those who were forced into Egypt against their will, Jeremiah, Baruch, etc. and those who took Jeremiah's advice and fled from Egypt before the arrival of the Chaldeans. All those who go against the will of God, be it then OR now, shall NOT escape one or the other of God's sore judgments.

Eze.5:12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. (KJV) . . . Because of the wickedness of the people, God tells how He would execute severe judgments upon His people. With pestilence, famine and sword.

Eze.5:17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it. (KJV) . . . Evil beasts; either the king of Babylon, which, like a ravenous and insatiable beast, tore and devoured all, or literally, lions, bears, etc. which are one of God's four sore judgments (Eze.14:21).

Eze.7:15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. (KJV) . . . No security would be found anywhere (Deut.32:25). Fulfilled (Lam.1:20), also at the Roman invasion of Jerusalem in AD 70.

Eze.33:27 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. (KJV) . . . He speaks of the Jews who had fled to rocks, caves, and fortresses in the mountains; whose death He predicts, partly by the sword, partly by wild beasts, and partly by famine. Judea had many caves (Jud.6:2; 1 Sam.13:6) some almost inaccessible, where the Jews hid. The wastes were ruinous heaps of cities or towns. The Chaldean soldier ransacked all places, finding them killed them. Those in open fields would be prey to lions, or other ravenous beasts, that would multiply in that ruined country. Those who thought they would be safe in forts would die of pestilence.

Oh! the power of God! WHY can't people of today SEE Him working in the world with every "natural disaster" that He brings? Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, drought in one part of the country, and floods in another, and the strange winter of 2009/2010. Yet people refuse to admit it is God's wrath! All the wickedness world-wide: living together without being married, adultery, fornication, same sex marriage, homosexuality more rampant with each passing day, drug abuse, drunkenness even in young teens, horrible violence because of video games and movies, murder, rape, incest . . . I think you get what I mean. IF America doesn't change and do it soon, this country SHALL fall. I am up in years, but I have thought for many years that I will see the day this happens, and I still do. America's debt has sky rocketed in the past decade and Obama does NOT seem to realize just what a predicament he has this country in!

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (KJV) . . . THIS is NOW!!! It's happening folks! It is NOT global warming! It is NOT anything the stupid media says it is! It is PROPHECY!!! Spoken by none other that Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord! It IS happening, all of it, and it shall get worse and worse and worse! Wake up people~!

God's WRATH!

2 Samuel 24:15 So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men. (KJV) (Also see: 1 Chron.21:14). . . . God is absolutely a God of love! BUT, God is also a God of wrath! He has TWO sides! He will tolerate sin just so long, then He will lower the boom! He did it many, many times in the Old Testament, and He is doing it today, so far in minor ways, but He shall bring greater devastations and they shall become more and more frequent, like the birth pains of a woman (Isa.13:8). Only when people repent and turn from their sin, will He bless this country again. Until that happens, (IF that happens) His wrath shall continue in multiple ways! Some people will NEVER repent!
(Rev.9:20-21; 16:9-11). I pray that you are NOT one of these.

God’s Wrath
God’s Promises Fulfilled . . . Chapter 5

When people think of God's Promises, they think only of Promises of blessings, of good things. BUT, God has two sides! He is a God of love and compassion and forgiveness and mercy and all good things. BUT God is also a God of wrath, which sad to say, today's modern churches and the so-called 'shepherds' in charge of the flocks, are NOT teaching from their pulpits.

Today, fewer and fewer people are going to church, and the vast majority of those who do go will go only IF they hear what they want to hear. They do NOT want to hear that they are sinners. They do NOT want to hear of God's wrath. They do NOT want to hear of judgment that is certain. They do NOT want to hear of Hell. They do NOT want to hear that unless they repent, Hell is theirs. SO, they go to these modern day 'feel good' churches that are under the guidance of WOLVES disguised as sheep! I warn you. BEWARE!!!

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (KJV)

2 Cor.11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (KJV) . . . BEWARE!!! These satanic monsters are everywhere! They are trusted and very well liked. And when anyone makes an attempt to expose them, for I consider this my job, I am bombarded with nasty emails by the wolves themselves and their devoted flocks.
Isaiah 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (KJV) . . . People have NOT changed over the years. They did NOT want the Truth in Isaiah's day, and they do NOT want it now!

1 Tim.4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (KJV) . . . Today's pastors are teaching and preaching many doctrines of devils to their apostate flocks causing God’s wrath.

2 Timothy 4:2-4  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV) . . . The new generation of church goers do NOT want to hear the Truth. They will NOT listen to a TRUE shepherd bringing the whole Truth of the Bible. They simply will NOT tolerate him.

All About False Teachers

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (KJV)

Isaiah 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. (KJV)

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV)

Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? (KJV)

2 Cor.11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. (KJV) . . . There are many FALSE another Jesus’  out there in today’s cults. BEWARE!!!

2 Cor.11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (KJV) . . . NOT children of God, but children of the devil (1 John 3:10), on which rests God’s wrath.

Gal.1:9. (KJV) . . . There are MANY other gospels being As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed preached today. God is NOT at all happy!
1 Tim.4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV) . . . These preachers and teachers are hypocrites and liars. They pretend to be religious, like the Pharisees, but their conscience is dead.

1 Tim.6:3-5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. (KJV) . . . Anyone who teaches a different doctrine that disagrees with the Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ is proud and greedy and knows nothing according to Almighty God!

Titus 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. (KJV) . . . So many of today’s modern preachers are out simply to gain wealth. God’s wrath shall come down on these people like a ton of bricks!

2 Peter 2:1-2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason  of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (KJV). . .  There were false prophets in the past, and in today’s churches there are false teachers bringing destructive and damnable false doctrines, denying the Master who redeemed them, and in so doing, they bring upon themselves sudden destruction when God’s wrath falls upon them. But, even so, many follow their immoral ways; and because of this, others will speak evil of Truth.

2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. (KJV) . . . In other words, have nothing to do with these wicked people.

Ephes. 5:1-6  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; [2] And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a weetsmelling savour. [3] But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; [4] either filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. [5] For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [6] Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (KJV) . . . Don't be fooled by anyone who tries to excuse the many so-called ‘acceptable’ sins of today, for the terrible wrath of God comes upon ALL those who disobey Him. When the Holy Spirit convicts you of a sin, repent, turn away from it, fast! You do NOT want God’s Holy and righteous wrath coming down on you! So, what am I getting at? I am NOT a pastor. I am a teacher of God's Holy Word, but I am also a "watchman" like in the Old Testament (Jer.6:17; Eze.3:17; 33:6-7). I try to warn people of the consequences of disobeying God and His Word. Today, watchmen are few and far between. Many who profess to be watchmen, are absolutely blind to what is happening in today's churches. They do NOT open their mouth, they sleep on a very important job!
Isaiah 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. (KJV) . . . I will NOT be classified in this position. IF I hear or see something wrong according to God’s Holy Word, I will NOT be a dumb dog, I will bark! I will blow the trumpet, loud and long, no matter how many wolves tell me to "back off" or how many of their flock email me with condemnation! I heard a saying many years ago and I love it! "One with God is the majority." I stand firm in my position. I try to reach the lost, the backslidden, the vulnerable or those who follow wolves bringing damnable heresies. God shall fulfill His Promises to the wicked just as He shall fulfill His Promises to the righteous. Please believe this.

That is what I am getting at! BEWARE!!! You do NOT want to go to Hell, but IF you disobey, disrespect, blaspheme or harden your heart against God, you are in trouble my friend!
Rev. 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (KJV) . . . Today’s world values money, power and pleasure.   Individuals and governments disown God to gain those things and shall one day drink of the wine of God’s wrath.

God’s Wrath
Degrees of Punishment . . . Chapter 6

How Can Hell Be A Just Punishment? Is Hell Really Eternal Punishment?
What does the Bible say?

Although it does not specifically say so, the Bible seems to indicate that there are different levels of punishment in Hell. In Rev.20:11-15, the people are judged “according to what they had done as recorded in the books” (vs12). ALL the people at this judgment, are cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:13-15), so it seems logical that the purpose of the Great White Throne Judgment is to decide how severe their punishment in Hell will be. But, in my opinion, being thrown into a slightly less hot portion of the lake of fire is no consolation to those who are doomed for to torment (Luke 16:23) for eternity. I do not know what degrees of punishment Hell does contain, but I do know it is a place I do not want to go.

BUT, sad to say, the Bible tells us the majority of people will end up in Hell.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  (KJV) . . . The question you must ask yourself is: “Which road am I on?” The “many” on the broad road have one thing in common, they all have rejected Christ as the One and Only Way to Heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . God CANNOT lie! And Jesus IS God! When He says that HE is the Only Way, that is EXACTLY what He means. Anyone who thinks they have a 'better' way, or an easier way beside Jesus Christ is on the broad road to destruction (Hell)! The suffering, at any level, if there are different levels of punishment in Hell, will be dreadful, eternal and avoidable. Believe this! Once you are dead, you have NO more opportunities to choose the roads to eternity. I truly believe that God has granted us this life on Earth for us to make the greatest decision of a lifetime. Most people choose the broad road to Hell. May I suggest that it is not too late for you to get on that narrow road to Heaven! Choose Heaven NOW!

The first thing to consider is that the doctrine of Hell is clearly taught in the Holy Word of God. The Bible seems to tell us that there are different degrees of punishment, so the suffering a person will experience shall be in proportion to their guilt and not the maximum amount they could experience.

Is Hell a just punishment? Absolutely! God is just and anything that He does is always right and just! (Gen.18:25; Ex.23:7; Num.14:18; Deut.32:4; Job 8:20; 11:6; 34:12; Psalm 9:8; 37:28; 75:2; 119:137; Isa.11:4; Eze.18:20; Rom.2:2; Rev.19:2). Check them out.

Is eternal punishment really never ending? What does the Bible say? (Isa.33:14; 34:10; 66:24; Mat.3:12; 18:8; 25:41; Mark 9:44; Luke 3:17; 2 Thes.1:9; Jude 1:7; Rev.20:10). ALL these Passages say punishment in Hell is eternal, everlasting, never ending, unquenchable!

Is eternal punishment unjust? Is it wrong? NO! Not according to our Almighty Creator God! Again, anything that He does is NEVER wrong. The vast majority of people do not believe they will go to Hell, and if they do believe in Hell, they do not think unending punishment is something that they deserve. Also, many people do not think anyone deserves that punishment. That is why all the damnable heresies about Hell. See “Man’s Alternatives to Hell” in chapter 2.
NONE of them true!

What Type of Punishment

Hell is often depicted as a place of unquenchable fire (Isa.33:14; Rev.14:10; 20:10,15) and our Lord Jesus clearly states it in Mat.5:22; 13:42,50; 25:41; Mk.9:43). Fire, flame and brimstone are symbols of God's judgment and Hell, and I think that a symbol is just a tiny taste of the Truth and actual reality of Hell. Hell’s torment will be much worse than any symbol.
Fire = Hell, judgment   Mat.3:10
Flame of fire = judgment   Isa.29:6; Rev.1:14
Flame = Hell   Luke 16:24
Flaming fire = judgment   2 Thes.1:8
Verses on fire: Isa.33:14; 34:10; 66:24; Mat. 3:12; 13:30,42; 18:8; 25:41; Jude 1:7; Rev.14:10; 19:20; 20:10,15; 21:8

And too, Hell is also often described as a place of "darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Mat. 25:30). I think the darkness is most likely symbolic of God's judgment and Hell, but that again is my opinion.
Darkness = sin, evil, wickedness; the ungodly world John 1:5; Eph.5:8
Day of darkness = the Great Tribulation Joel 2:2
Verses on darkness: Job 15:30; Ps.35:6; 49:19; Pro.20:20; Amos 5:20; Mat.8:12; 22:13; 25:30; 2 Pet.2:4,17

The punishment of Hell that makes the most sense to me is found in the following Passage.
2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (KJV) . . . Being separated from a good and merciful God and all that is good, to me would be HELL! What everlasting destruction is, I would say that the answer of that is in God's Mind and Hands! I DO know that it certainly is NOT annihilation! WHY? Because everlasting means forever, a continual non-stop thing. This destruction of Hell is the constant presence and continuation of evil and wickedness, and the complete absence of ALL good for eternity. Just the opposite of
Heaven!

Rev. 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)
Rev. 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (KJV) . . . Anyone cast into Hell, will have absolutely NO possibility of ever being reconciled to God. That is why it is SO important that you make the right decision while you live. AFTER death is judgment! NO second chances! NO exit doors! NO paroles! NO annihilation! NO purgatory! And certainly NO hope of the damnable universalism heresy!
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV)  . . . Personally, I think that to never see the Lord Face to face, never see His power and glory, never receive His blessings, never feel His awesome Presence, never to be part of His amazing grace, never be a part of anything good, that would be a horrible destination in my book.

Is the punishment of Hell physical and mental anguish or just mental anguish? Consider what the Bible says.
Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. (KJV) . . . NOT angels, as many think or say or believe, BUT "as the angels" in our then being spiritual.
1 Cor. 15:42-44 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (KJV)
1 Cor. 15:52-53 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (KJV) . . . It really seems to me that the anguish of those in Hell shall be at least in part caused by their willing separation from the perfectly good and loving God.

One day God's TRUE children shall have sinless bodies like our Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord! Phil. 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (KJV) . . . What kind of resurrected bodies unbelievers will have, I do not know, except that they will be fitted for the torments of Hell.

Will the punishment of Hell be both physical and mental anguish or just mental anguish? You be the judge! Consider the above Scriptures and the following as well!
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. (KJV) . . . I am no scholar. I have little worldly education. I simply have studied and taught the Bible for many decades. I teach absolutely NO denominational doctrines of any kind. I teach the Bible and I expose false heresies and false teachers and self-proclaimed prophets. I cannot answer all questions. So, will the punishment of Hell be both physical and mental anguish? It may be both according to God's Holy Word. I DO know that you do NOT want even the smallest amount of punishment that Hell shall offer! BEWARE!!!

Degrees of Punishment

Most people never consider that there are degrees of punishment in Hell, just as there are degrees of reward in Heaven. Some Passages below show that there are indeed degrees of punishment in Hell.
Matthew 11:21-24 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. (KJV)

Luke 12:47-48 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. (KJV)
Judged According to Works

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV)

Rom. 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (KJV)

1 Cor.3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. (KJV)

2 Tim. 4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: (KJV)

1 Pet.1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: (KJV)

Rev.2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (KJV)

Rev.18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (KJV)

Rev.20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) . .  . Judgment is certain!

Rev.22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (KJV)

It is NOT directly stated that a person's degree of punishment is based on the severity of their sins, but it IS implied in several places. It is also implied by the different degrees of punishment given for different sins in the Mosaic Law.
Exodus 21:23-25 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, 24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. (KJV)

Deut.25:2-3 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. 3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee. (KJV) . . . This states that those deserving punishment should not be whipped, with more lashes than is right.

Do all sins deserve the same punishment? The Bible does not seem to teach that as far as I understand it. YES! Absolutely, sin, ANY sin is hated by God, and any sin shall be punished by Him if the person has not accepted God's one and only Escape Plan . . . JESUS!
1 Cor. 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. . . . ALL are destined to Hell without Jesus! (KJV)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

John 3:35-36 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.  . . . Just JESUS!

1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV) . . . You either believe the Bible or be condemned to Hell. The wrath of God is something you do NOT want. Believe this friend!

God’s Wrath
My Comments . . . Chapter 7

Many people say, “I’m a Christian.” These people think they are very religious. They belong to a church and attend regularly. BUT, they do NOT believe the Bible is really the Word of God. These people and these modern churches talk a lot about love and brotherhood and teach the damnable heresies of the Word Faith movement. They have a beautiful church and the pastor preaches a lovely sermon (?) that makes everyone feel good (2 Tim. 4:3-4). They think that they have escaped the pollutions of the world, but they have NOT escaped its corruptions.

Many have heard the Gospel, but they admit that they do not believe it. Some even doubt that there is a God. Many do NOT believe that Jesus is God, including some preachers who email me. Peter deals with the apostasy that was coming into the church through false teachers who were creeping in and teaching false doctrines, teaching that which is contrary to the Word of God (2 Pet.2:21; 3:17).
Also for apostasy see: 2 Thes.2:3; 1 Tim.1:19; 4:1; 5:121; 2 Tim.4:4; Heb.3:12; 10:26). Peter says that they pervert the Truth of God, and they do it for their own advantage. So many rich preachers! What worldly possessions did Jesus have? NONE!!! (Mat.8:20). BEWARE! There is a false doctrine that teaches that Jesus was rich. It is NOT true. Will you believe these heretics, or what Jesus said?

Does the Bible teach degrees of reward in heaven? Yes, it does. Does it also teach degrees of punishment in Hell? Yes, it does. The Good News is that God’s offer of salvation is open to everyone (John 3:16; Rom. 6:23). NO one has to go to Hell, no matter what you may have done. God can and will forgive you IF you repent (turn away from it). When Christ went to the cross on our behalf (1 Tim. 2:4-6), He paid a debt He did not owe, because we had a debt we could not pay. WHY? So that we could live forever in the Presence of our awesome and Almighty Creator (Mat.25:46). God takes absolutely NO pleasure in the death of the wicked (Eze.18:23; 33:11). It is His will that none should perish (2 Pet.3:9). When I was saved from the eternal torment of Hell, I was so grateful that my compassion and concern for the lost became an extremely important issue to me. I want to lead people AWAY from Hell.

When a person is truly saved, we SEE just how awful the hideous nature of our sin really is to God. We not only want to save ourselves from this evil generation, we want to reach out and tell others of our blessing, and keep them from the wrath of God.

1 Timothy 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (KJV) . . . We should have sincere compassion about warning unbelievers of their impending doom.

Just as Ezekiel was appointed a "watchman" over Israel (Eze.3:17-19), I truly believe it is the task of every TRUE believer today to be "watchman" over all those around them. There are not many who agree with me about this, and sometimes I am highly criticized for my exposure of false doctrine, false teachers and false self-proclaimed prophets. But I take my job very seriously, and I shall continue as long as the Lord gives me strength, because HE has NOT told me to stop!

WHAT is the purpose of Hell?

Is it to reform people? Is it to chastise people? Is it just to smack their little hand and say "Don't do that again?" Is it a place where people are sent until they repent? No way my friend! The purpose of Hell is for punishment. Those whom God casts into Hell will NEVER repent of any wrongdoing. Wrongdoing deserves punishment.

People say that it is unfair for someone who lived a good life and was kind and generous to people to be punished severely. But, on the other hand, it would be unfair for a cruel, evil person to be rewarded in the afterlife. God is absolutely just and righteous in ALL His dealings with believers and unbelievers. Everyone shall receive right judgment when they stand before the Almighty and Righteous Judge Jesus (Isa.9:6-7; 11:4; Dan.7:14; Mat.21:40; 25:32; John 5:22,27; Acts 10:42; 17:31; 1 Cor.3:11-15; 4:4; 1 Pet.3:22; Rev.20:10-15).

NO one deserving Heaven shall be condemned to Hell, and NO one deserving Hell will be permitted into God's Home, Heaven. THAT is FACT!

?Why Doesn't God Save Everyone?

Since NO one can earn, buy or work for their eternal salvation (Heaven) but are only saved by faith and God's grace (Eph.2:8-9), WHY doesn't God allow everyone into Heaven?

Since God is SO righteous and just in ALL His doings, and we as humans, like Adam, have fallen far from His grace, we would have to be in strict obedience to God. But like Adam, we ALL disobey God (Gen.2:16-17), and that same death sentence pronounced all those years ago is upon us. But, there is ONE Way to have that death sentence revoked! Yet it seems most people simply refuse to go that route! For us to be in complete obedience to God, we must accept God's one and only Plan of salvation, and that is JESUS! Since Jesus is the ONLY One who was ever completely sinless (Isa.53:9; 2 Cor.5:21; Heb.4:15; 7:26; 9:28) and kept ALL the Commandments of God, we must believe and accept Christ Jesus and His Work on the cross for us, or we shall be condemned to Hell by God the Father.

1 Cor.1:30-31 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. . (KJV) . . . The ONLY Way we can achieve righteousness to please God the Father, is to get it from His One and Only Begotten Son! (John 3:15-18).

Isaiah 64:6  But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (KJV) . . . No matter how righteous you may THINK you are, you are NOT righteous in God’s eyes, not without Jesus! Only JESUS can make you righteous and keep away God’s wrath from you!

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (KJV) . . . God's grace, our faith! We must Believe God! We must trust Jesus to save us. The only righteousness God will accept from us is what we receive through JESUS!

We must choose to accept God's grace, choose to love and accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord. We must be sincere. God the Father will NOT give us the Holy Spirit if we are pretenders! And friend, He KNOWS our heart and our thoughts! (Eze.11:5). We CANNOT fool Him! Anyone who refuses to accept Christ Jesus are considered "wicked" by God and will NOT be permitted to live in His direct Presence. Evil cannot live in the Presence of God (Ps. 5:4-5). The Bible teaches that anyone who refuses to accept Christ as Saviour and Lord are considered to be in a state of active rebellion against God. HELL is NOT a Place You Want to go.
Touch: pain from eternal burning fires
Taste: dry mouth, extreme thirst, blood from gnashing teeth
Smell: rotting garbage; rotten eggs, sulfur
Sight: smoke and fire; or black darkness
Sound: moaning, weeping, crying, screaming

GIVE GOD PERMISSION

All are vile sinners; God’s Word does tell,
We are His enemies; bound for Hell.
But God is so good; He made a Way,
That we might live with Him, some sweet day.

Give God permission; and He’ll change you,
He wants you as His child, pure and true.
He gave His Son pow’r, your life to change,
Give God permission; He’ll re-arrange.

Christ can make you God’s child, and God’s friend,
And some day you will, to Heav’n ascend.
Trust and hope in Christ, can make you pure,
Giving vict’ry, o’er sin’s evil lure.

It’s your choice; to give God permission,
He’ll not force you, to make a decision.
He’ll change so many things, all for you,
Give God permission; and He’ll rescue!

He needs permission, ‘fore He steps in,
When He has it; a new life begins.
Repent of your sins; open your heart,
Gives God permission, your new life to start.

Only two roads to eternity. Which one are you one?
Narrow road with Jesus = Heaven!
Wide road with Satan = Hell.

Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. (KJV)

John 3:35-36  The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV)

Romans 2:5-6 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (KJV)

Ephes. 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (KJV)

Hebrews 3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest. (KJV)

The TRUTH about SALVATION

How does a person get to Heaven? Some teach that if the good things you do outweigh the bad, God will let you in. That is FALSE! If you believe that, you are headed for Hell (John 3:16, 36; 8:24; 14:6).

There is only ONE Way to Heaven according to the Bible. That is faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ. You could NEVER do enough good deeds in 100 life times to permit you access to Heaven. You could NEVER buy your way to Heaven with all the money in the world. You can NEVER perform enough rituals or sacraments no matter what church you belong to. Faith in Christ is the only way.

The Bible tells us we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Rom.3:23). Since God allows nothing bad or evil to enter Heaven (Rev.21:8, 22:15), NO sinner is permitted. We must first believe God, and trust and accept what Jesus did for us on the cross. Only then will the Father credit our account with the righteousness of His Son (1 Cor.1:30; Rom.3:22, 25-26). Only our faith can make us right in God’s eyes, just as Abraham’s faith made him right in God’s eyes all those many years ago (Rom. 3:25-26; 4:3,5-6, 9,22; Gal.3:6).

We have absolutely NO righteousness of our own (Isa.64:6), any righteousness we possess must come through faith in Christ (Philip. 3:9; Rom.5:1-2).

If you think you can EARN your way to Heaven, if you think you can establish your own righteousness, you are 100% wrong! IF you could earn your way to Heaven, then our precious Lord Jesus died for nothing!

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. IF we could be saved by keeping the law, or doing good, then there was no need for Christ to die.

God is pure and holy. We are vile sinners, actually we are His enemies. God cannot even look at sin. We must be made “right” in His eyes to have fellowship with Him. Only acceptance of Jesus justifies us, gives us access to the Father and makes us His friends (Rom.5:1-10). There is NO other way! Many say that Way is too narrow (Mat.7:13-14). But friend, that Way is wide enough for the whole world if they choose to walk it!

Many who seek God are confused about what He wants them to do. False teachers give so many answers to this question. But salvation really is simple. Pleasing God does NOT come from any work we do, but from Whom we believe. You must believe Jesus is who He claims to be. We must, like Peter believe He is the Christ, the Son of the living God (Mat.16:16).
John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. The ONLY “work” God desires of us, is that we believe Him!

Salvation is a Gift (Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8-9)! It is absolutely FREE to “whosoever.” John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Only Jesus has the KEY to Heaven! IF we believe in Him, we have everlasting life in Heaven. Believe God! And Heaven is yours! (John 5:24; 8:24; 1 John 5:10-12).
